Story
This is Buc, he is a mixed breed pup about 3 yrs old. His owner passed away and his wife was unable to keep him. Buc is up to date on vaccinations, fixed and house trained. He loves kids. He plays very well with other dogs. He loves being outside and has done very well with positive training so far. He is a very sweet boy with lots of kisses to give. Buc has lots of energy and is a little unaware of his actual size. He’s quite adorable. This good boy needs a place to call home! He would do well in a home with other large size dogs. NOT OKAY FOR HOUSEHOLDS WITH CATS OR OTHER SMALL ANIMALS. Please let us know if you are interested in Buc

Story
Dog:Beatrice Age:1-2 Weight: 100lbs Location: Bucks County Nicknames: Bea Good with other dogs?: Dog selective.Beatrice gets along with our young, submissive American Bulldog, but has been a bit bossy and protective about sharing toys or bones. She has been able to share beds, and spaces without an issue. Would probably be best as an only dog, or as the sibling to a submissive male who does not care about toys. She is a bit obnoxious when seeing other dogs while on walks, but if she meets them, and they are calm, its not an issue. She has been going on our pack walks and doing well. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10 Activity Preference: Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time. IQ: Smart Beatrice's favorite things: Beatrice is so sweet! She loves spending time with her people while cuddling on the couch. She Loves belly rubs, chewing bones, and playing with toys. She will throw her toys in the air and pounce on them to play. Beatrice is good at: meeting people, behaving in the house, going for car rides, making me feel safe, cuddling, playing Ideal home: someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with dogs, leash training, needs obedience training Health issues: Meet Beatrice Beatrice is a beautiful, big mastiff type girl. She will do best in a home with people who are experienced in handling a very large, strong, powerful and a bit stubborn dog. She is BIG! She would do best with a family who works from home or will not leave her for long periods of time. She has big bark and is not afraid to use it! She is so sweet with every person she meets. She has not issues with her foster parents taking toys or food away from her.She was a stray taken to ACCT in philly and has been adjusting to life in a foster home with a yard and foster sibling. She is BIG! She does really well going to the bathroom outside, but has had a few accidents. She does not love the crate, in fact she has escaped from two. We have been slowly getting her used to a special, heavy duty crate. She would however, prefer to be left out of the crate if possible.   We think Beatrice is either a Boerboel or a Bullmastiff.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Story
Tiana, your very favorite princess, is searching for her forever castle! I'm a gorgeous, gorgeous girl, and about 5.5 years young. This means I'm past my puppy craziness, but still have plenty of life and adventure left to live with you! I'm a bigger gal, around 70 pounds, but that's all the more to love you with! I already know some tricks, like sit, stay and paw, and am ready to learn more! I was brought to the shelter when my human was moving, but I'm taking the change in stride, and can't wait to get back into a home with some people who will love me! I did well with housebreaking, crate training, and exploring all of the world with my family. I love all humans I've come across, and I know I'll love you, too, if you come meet me!   Have Room in Your Home? Welcoming in a pet saves your new pet's life and creates space for another pet to get a chance! Not sure if Tiana would be the best fit for you? Send in a generic app! Our team will work with you to find a pet to best fit your lifestyle! You will go home with a starter bag of food, one month of flea and heartworm prevention, and also have 90 DAYS of training help included with your adoption, if needed! Story
Meet Phoenix! ??This handsome pup is ready to rise into a loving forever home! Phoenix came to us as part of an `oopsie litter` and has been on the lookout for a patient, understanding family to help him shine. At first, Phoenix can be a little shy, but once he warms up, his sweet, playful nature comes out in full force. He`s a smart cookie with some training under his belt, though he’s still learning to manage his puppy-like tendencies (chewing and exploring with his mouth).Phoenix is a dog who knows what he likes:- No cats or small animals—his prey drive is high, and those little critters are just too tempting!- No doggy roommates—while Phoenix can enjoy playtime with smaller dogs outside the home, he prefers not to share his space or belongings. Working on counter-conditioning while he’s young will help him continue to grow into his best self! This sweet boy would thrive in a home where he’s the center of attention and given plenty of love, structure, and fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s eager to learn, Phoenix just might be the perfect match for you.--If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org
