Born March 2019 and was not neutered. He is a great guard dog and has been great with my 2yo and 3yo children their whole lives. He eats Purina One large breed dog food. He is hesitant and will bark at new people until you let him know they are ok. Tall men make him skittish until they sit and he can sniff them. He has never bitten anyone or anything but will bark if strangers make fast movements towards him. Basically a big lovable lap dog that is just 150 lbs. He is very protective also, so if someone grabs you aggressively he will knock them off you. Looking for a home that he will be loved and played with since he is active.

- Such a sweet lady; loves to play with plush toys and lay on your lap - Politely greets everyone she meets and is loving without being too bouncy - LOVES squeaky toys and will bring them back and drop them so you can throw them again! - Knows sit and walks well on a leash - Has done well with other dogs, although she can be a bit socially awkward at times (dog intro recommended) - Overall, just a really great dog! All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. Primary Color: Brown Weight: 49 Age: 3yrs 2mths 3wks

Aries is a beautiful mastiff/ boxer mix with a big heart (and a big head). She loves her people and does great with other dogs. Her goofy grin melts the hearts of those around her and her somewhat shy yet playful demeanor is what always seals the deal on staff and volunteers. Everyone here has fallen in love with this big goofy girl and we are sure you will too!

Tank is a 2 year old English Mastiff. He is a big boy with lots of love to give. He enjoys playing fetch and being outside. Tank would like to reserve a spot on the couch for evening cuddles - since he thinks he`s a lap dog. Tank came to us through a bite case. He was involved in an altercation with another dog. He has done well with the dogs here, so if you have a current dog in the home, several meet and greets will be required to make sure everyone gets along. Tank`s adoption fee covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and various other treatments. If you are interested in Tank, please stop by the front desk or call 641-753-9046.
