Story
Hi, I'm Kodiak. I am so glad you are taking a look at me. I know my cute face is hard to resist, but here's the scoop: I'll need a lot of your time and attention as I grow up into the amazing adult dog I'm destined to be! I'm looking for a forever family that will help me with socialization, training (yes, that includes house training!), and plenty of exercise. And let's not forget the chewing and teething-I'm still learning what's okay (and what's definitely not okay) to put in my mouth. So, be ready for some puppy-proofing! Don't forget those vet visits! I'll need to stay up to date on my boosters and vaccines, which means a few trips to see my favorite vet in the first few months. But trust me, all that effort will be worth it when you experience the endless love, puppy kisses, and pure joy I'll bring into your life. So, if you're up for the challenge and the fun, why not come meet me in person? Stop by during our adoption hours. For more details, email info@ahconnects.org or give us a call at 847-697-2880 x: 0. The friendly folks here will be happy to answer all your questions! Can't wait to meet you and start our adventure together! Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.

Story
Pudding - Female Mastiff Mix Age: 10 months Good with: Cats: Unknown Dogs: Yes- needs slow intro Kids: Yes Location: Waukesha, WI Weight: 80 lbs Pudding is a lovable 80-pound mastiff mix looking for her forever family! At around 10 months old, she is a perfect blend of playful puppy energy and cuddly companionship.Pudding is friendly with everyone she meets—children, adults, and even other dogs. She enjoys leisurely walks, belly rubs, snuggling up on the couch, and relaxing in her crate with a hard bone. Pudding will continue to thrive with basic obedience training in her forever home! Pudding does experience separation anxiety, so she’s looking for a patient and loving family who can help her feel secure. She would thrive in a home where someone is around for most of the day or where she can have a furry companion to keep her company. With some positive reinforcement training and a consistent routine, we believe Pudding will begin to overcome her fears and understand that her people will always come back to her!
