Story
Chuck was rescued from a high kill shelter. He did good while in the shelter and was handled by men and women. He is extremely stressed and show reactivity towards men. Chuck really likes the ladies! We think he may have been abused by a male at some point in his life. He needs an adopter who is experienced with large breed dogs and has the time and patience to help him build his confidence and help him save and secure. Due to his stress, he is a special needs dog. If we can find him an adopter, we will pay for training. We just need someone who is committed, and willing to invest the time needed to help this big fella. Capone is a SPECIAL NEEDS SENIOR that needs a loving family to care for him in his final years. He is a purebred English Mastiff that is 8 yo. He LOVES everyone and everything! He had an ACL tear 1 year ago, so he doesn't get around as good as he used to, and due to his age and body aches and pains, has become intolerant of small children. We know adopting a senior dog in his final years can be extremely hard....but we think CAPONE really deserves someone who can shower him with love affection. His adoption fee has been reduced to $300
