Mastiff puppies and dogs in Idaho

Look at LUKA! He is a Mastiff/Coon mix. He is almost 2 yo and is needing a new home by not fault of his own. He is a very playful and loving pup and just wants to next to his people. He was surrendered because he accidently knocked down his owners elderly parent that lives with them. He is nuetered and UTD on shots. Does great with dogs, cats, and kids. Currently located in Post Falls ID.

If Cinnamon Roll were a person, he would be a hopeless romantic. Everything about him exudes an ability for deep love. When I first met him I was struck by his warm eyes which almost distracted me from his gorgeous brindle color, which I suspect may come from some mastiff mixed in there but of course, we can’t know for sure. Now he didn’t get the size of a mastiff, he is more like a half-size. The only way I would call him a gentle-giant would be if we were talking about love and loyalty- he is a giant in that sense! Cinnamon Roll weighs 64 lbs and is full grown at an estimated 3 years old. So this is him, gorgeous, glorious him. He may be considered a big dog but he isn’t imposing at all, I don’t think he has any concept of his potential to be intimidating and I am not going to either. Let’s have him out here being a big softie in that mastiff/staffie body. Once he gets home to his forever family, he is going to bond so deeply, be prepared for a dog that looks at you with big ol’ puppy dog heart eyes! I have also heard a tiny bit of chattiness out of him while hanging out in the living room so he may also tell you he loves you sometimes. When we introduced Cinnamon to new dogs he was calm, welcoming and easy-going but isn’t super playful. He is polite and tolerant, enjoying spending time with other dogs but passing on the games of chase or wrestling that were going on around him. An ideal doggie sibling would be moderately playful but Cinnamon Roll would be just as happy soaking up all the love himself. Another dog is not necessary for him to be fulfilled and happy. A home with a yard would be great for him but isn’t necessary. He will need a bit of polishing up on his leash skills, but he is attentive and treat motivated which will make the learning process a breeze. Regular walks, treats, and sweet talk will have him walking like a dream in no-time. While Cinnamon has a calm demeanor overall, no cats in the home for him. When we introduced him to our house cat he was a bit too interested for us to say he wouldn’t try to chase the cat and given his size, that would be chaos. Chuck was rescued from a high kill shelter. He did good while in the shelter and was handled by men and women. He is extremely stressed and show reactivity towards men. Chuck really likes the ladies! We think he may have been abused by a male at some point in his life. He needs an adopter who is experienced with large breed dogs and has the time and patience to help him build his confidence and help him save and secure. Due to his stress, he is a special needs dog. Maggie May is a beautiful purebred English Mastiff. She needs to be an only dog. She does fine walking by other dogs but will not tolerate another dog in her "household." She been through training and knows all the basic commands. She is very loving and affectionate and loves cuddles, snout kisses, and ice cubes. She is afraid of young children so no no young kids. She is currently located in Athena Oregon

Bailey's current owner is very ill and disabled. She wants to make sure Bailey finds a good home before she passes. She rescued Bailey from an abusive owner when she was 8 mos. She is very shy and timid with new people so it takes her a little bit to warm up. she is scared of young kids, so no young children. she is great with other dogs, cats unknown. she said she will bark at a cat but does not chase. Bailey is pretty docile and will thrive in a low-key household. she loves to cuddle in bed, but soon migrates out to the couch. She loves carrots.
