Story
This pups adoption fee has been partially sponsored by All Aboard or an All Aboard partner! The new adoption fee is reflected on the profile. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING THIS DOG: Ombre can be easily startled by new people and things. He is occasionally slower to meeting new people, especially men, and other dogs. Ombre has the potential to get overwhelmed easily and can resource guard. Ombre needs an adopter who is patient and willing to continue his training. Ombre is big guy with a lot of love to give! He came to us with a few quirks that his foster has been helping him work through and he is constantly making progress! He does need an experienced adopter who will be dedicated to continued positive reinforcement training and ongoing socialization. He has come a long way since his arrival in January 2023 and needs the perfect partner in crime to help him continue making progress! Ombre can be a bit skittish with new sounds or unexpected movements and can resource guard at times. He is occasionally slow to warm up to new men and other dogs, but not consistently! He can get overwhelmed in new high-activity environments, so continued socialization is a must. Ombre is very loving and curious, and acts like he is his foster's shadow. This loving boy is a classic case of a dog who is worth the effort! With the right, experienced adopter who is committed to setting him up for success through continued training and socialization, Ombre will absolutely blossom into his adopter's most dedicated friend! He is house and kennel trained. Story
Meet Stewie, a lovable 4-year-old Mastiff mix looking for his forever home! Weighing in at 100 pounds, Stewie is a gentle giant whose biggest desires are cuddles and food. His past has left him a little overzealous when it comes to treats, so homes with small children might not be the best fit for him. Stewie is incredibly loyal and sweet, always ready to protect and love his family. He gets along well with other dogs, but due to his size and energetic play style, smaller dogs might not be the best playmates for him. Unfortunately, Stewie is not suited for homes with cats. This big-hearted boy had a rough start in life, having been starved before coming to his current foster home. Despite this, he’s shown an unwavering capacity for love and loyalty. Stewie is waiting for a family that can give him the care, attention, and endless cuddles he deserves. Please consider giving Stewie a chance to be your loyal companion! If interested please go to our website and fill out an application. You can find our application under the adoptable dogs icon. Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. We can’t wait to connect you with your new fur-ever friend.  https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/   Ozzie and Friends Rescue makes arrangements for all dogs adopted to be transported all across the Western United States, Canada and Midwest.   November 6, 2024, 2:40 pm

Story
Barkely is a 4 1/2 yr  Pittie/Mastiff/Heeler mix & a very handsome good boy.  He heartily eats his food and treats. He enjoys a variety of veggies, fruit, yogurt, canned food, bone broth as toppers or in a West Paw Topple cup, and a good bone to chew. He also likes a dab of peanut butter before bed.  He's a goober!! He is like a train when it's time to go outside to play. He thinks it's a race to get to his favorite ball. He lives for fetch!! Return? Well, he returns and drops the ball a few feet away. He's still slowly working on return and give/release.  He is good on harness/lead to walk. He is a big boy, & is strong.  He is a "Velcro" dog. He wants to be near his human & is willing to scale a fence to get to you. Therefore- Barkley requires a 6 ft or higher fence. He can not be left unattended outside until you're positive he can not/will not clear the fence. Barkley needs a stable home life. Love, attention, training, and play are highly encouraged, and another dog is highly encouraged to continue dog behavior/play/training. He is kennel-trained, & potty-trained.  Please schedule your meet & greet today! November 5, 2024, 1:55 pm

Story
Meet Riley, a gentle 2 yr old Mastiff/Husky mix, and her dad, Max, a 3-year-old English Mastiff, and a BIG boy, at 128 lbs, (the epitome of a gentle giant)! They have overcome more than their fair share of challenges. They have embarked on a journey of healing and hope after a difficult past of neglect and abuse. Despite it all, their spirit remains unbroken, and they are ready to discover the warmth and love of a true forever home. Riley is slowly realizing that not all humans are scary. With patience and kindness, Riley is blossoming into a loving and affectionate companion who adores being close to her person. Whether it's snuggling up for a cozy cuddle session or playing with her favorite toys, Riley finds comfort and happiness in simple moments of joy. Max loves nothing more than leaning in for a cuddle session, offering warmth and companionship with his people. Though his past may have been rough, he is an amazing and sweet dog. He is good with some dogs, house trained, and just wants a comfy couch and family to love him! Riley is strongly bonded to Max, and the presence of Riley brings Max an extra level of comfort and security, (making them an ideal pair for anyone looking to open their hearts to not just one, but two deserving souls). They would do best staying together, because they share a special bond. If you're ready to give Riley and Max the love and care they have been longing for, please apply today! Together, we can write the next chapter of their story—one filled with love, trust, and the happiness they so truly deserve.
