Story
I have had Little Bear since she was 4 weeks old. My sister gave her to me from a friend whose cat had kittens and disappeared. She is 12 years old and deserves more love and affection than my family can give her. Bear is a Manx cat which means she has no tail. She is actually a Rumpymeaning she only has a little tuft of hair where a tail would be. Because of her breed she has a syndrome called Manx Syndrome and she is incontinent when she sleeps. She uses her little boxes when awake so it’s just when she sleeps that she requires training pads under her bed. She is also trained to only sleep on her cat bed. Our family loves her so much. She is playful, soft, loves cat trees and cat nip. We have a 2 year old and they love each other as well. As much as we love Bear, with having a child and our work schedules we don’t have the time to give her the love and energy she deserves. I hope to find her a home that is loving and has more time to give her the attention she needs.

If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  Meet Coconut - “Put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em both up.” Hey there, future family! I’m Coconut! Breed: Domestic Short Hair / ManxWeight: 12 pounds of pure awesomenessAge: 6-1/2 years young A Bit About Me:I’m the coolest cat in town, with a personality that’ll make you think you’ve adopted a dog! I’m playful, affectionate, and super interactive. You won’t find me lounging on your lap, but I’ll be right by your side, rubbing against your leg and demanding those sweet head and butt scratches. My curiosity knows no bounds, and while I might be a bit cautious in a new place, give me some time, and I’ll settle right in and steal your heart! Who Do I Get Along With? Kids: Little humans stress me out a bit, so I prefer a more peaceful home. Dogs: If they leave me alone, I’m cool with them. Cats: I’m a fan of confident, outgoing lady cats. Some male cats? Not so much. Honestly, I’m more than enough cat to be your one and only! Health Stuff:I’ve got FIV+ (Feline immunodeficiency virus), which means my immune system isn’t as strong as other cats. But don’t worry! With some extra care to avoid infections, I can live a long, healthy life. Just keep an eye on my dental health and make sure my food is clean, and we’ll be golden! A Few More Things:New places can make me a bit jittery at first. Give me some time to get used to my new digs, and you’ll see just how loving and loyal I can be. I’m vocal, full of personality, and ready to be your best buddy! All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##1968718##

Story
Hey there, I’m Babs! I’m an orange and white cat with a whole lot of personality packed into this fluffy frame. Whether I’m zooming around the house, batting at my favorite toy, or curling up in the coziest spot I can find, I bring a little extra sunshine to every moment. I’ve got a curious streak a mile wide—I just have to know what’s going on at all times. If there’s a new box, I’m in it. If there’s a rustling sound, I’m investigating. And if you’re doing something interesting? Oh, you’d better believe I’m supervising. But don’t worry, I’m not all mischief—I’ve got a soft side, too. I love head scritches, warm laps, and napping in the perfect sunbeam. My foster called me a "cuddle bug." I might play it cool sometimes, but deep down, I’m all about love and loyalty. So, are you ready for a best friend who’s equal parts sass, snuggles, and adventure? Because I think we’d make a purrfect match! I am avaliable at Shakopee petsmart! Stop into the store to say hello today! ##2314651##
