Story
Third Coast Pets Alive! Hello, My name is Jingo. I am healthy two-year-old Manx which means I have a cute little nub for a tail and when I run, I hop a little like a bunny. Despite what my face might say, I'm really a sweet little girl and don't bite, scratch or fight when you pick me up! I get along with everyone (kids, dogs, other cats), but would do best in a quieter home. I mainly eat dry cat food, but l'm a sucker for that tasty wet food. If I think you're going to feed me any, I will chat up a storm and pull out all the cuteness stops. My hobbies include being on the lookout for catnip and treats, playing with squishy toys and I imagining I'm a ferocious hunter while watching lizards out the window. Story
Please read the entire bio to learn about Kiki. Kiki is the sweetest, most fun kitten! She purrs non-stop. Definitely a lap kitty when she is tired or wants cuddles. She is also very enthusiastic about play time which include jumping, running, climbing and chasing toys. She is a very entertaining kitty. Full of fun and love. She will play with the other kitties as long as they are willing. Her big issue and why she has not yet been adopted: She has problems using the litter box. She will urinate in cardboard boxes but will poop on the tile floor. She will go to the same area most times, but not always. Her fosters must find her little "gifts". A home with tile or vinyl floors is best. She needs a patient understanding, experienced cat owner. Kiki is to be adopted as an indoor only cat despite these issues. We know this is a tall order. If you meet the criteria and feel you have the love, tolerance and patience to deal with these issues, please complete an application.

Story
LOVES TO CHASE HIS STUBBY TAIL DOB 8/6/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m Teddy, a cute, friendly, and outgoing mitted red tabby Manx mix fella who loves to cuddle in Foster Meowmy's lap. But I'm no couch potato! No siree! I entertain everyone when I chase my little bobtail. Also I’m quite the soccer striker who likes to bat around my jingle-bell balls, spring-toys, and catnip mice. I show off my athletic prowess when I pounce at the feather wand-toy and scamper up to the top of the cat tree. The solo kitten born to a feral momma, I was a month old when Foster Meowmy scooped me up and rescued me from the hardscrabble life of hiding under a truck. I fit in beautifully to living indoors in my foster home where I have two older foster kittens to “big brother” me and plenty of soft pillows on which to grab a cat nap. And wet food and Greenies surely beat living paw-to-mouth outdoors. Now I’m ready to find my forever home. If you’re looking for a very playful, often silly ginger boy who relishes hugs, yummy food, and plenty of playtimes, I’m the fella for you! Arrange to meet me today! My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU! HOPE ID 24-0907-C106 If you are interested in Teddy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.

Story
This pretty Manx girl is Rosemary. She showed up out in the country very pregnant, and was suspected to be dumped because she's so friendly. She gave birth to three healthy babies in her foster home, and is estimated to only be about a year old herself. She is very talkative and loves to demand head and tummy rubs. Rosemary is getting used to living inside and is doing well. She is warming up to dogs, but has not had an introduction to other cats yet. Her ideal home needs to be willing to start slow, keep her comfortable, and she will make a great companion. To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
