Story
Thor is a 5 year old male cat that we've had since he was a kitten. We purchased him for $450 from a lady who claimed he was 100% manx. I'm not certain he is but he's Manx enough that my husband has no allergies around him. He is a beautiful cat! He has a nub for a tail. I typically shave his coat down spring break and then let it grow back in over the summer so some of his photos show his coat shorter and cut like a lion. At our house he lives indoor/outdoor and comes and goes as he pleases through a dog door but he is litter box trained. He's serious about his eating routine and likes to spend his days napping. If you have time to sit and pet him he'd like to cuddle. I had to choose some reason why to re-home him and I chose "behavorial" because he habitually claws at some pieces of my furniture to ask for food. We travel a lot and are super busy outside of the home. He needs to be with someone who has more time that we currently do to love on him.

Story
Monkey is a very sweet, active, and energetic Tabby Manx. He loves to be around people, play, have treats, and sleep in comfy beds. He was born with Manx Syndrome, which is similar to Spina Bifida in humans. Since he has no tail, it affects the nerves in his back end causing him to not be able to feel when he needs to use the litter box. He is able to poop and pee on his own but doesn't know when it is happening. To make sure he doesn't get constipated he is on a mainly wet food diet. To help with the incontinence he is in a diaper and a onsie or surgery recovery outfit to help keep the diaper in place. Monkey will need a home that understands his needs and is able to keep him clean and change him. He will need to have someone who knows the signs of when he might start getting constipated. He had been prescribed a medication to help keep him regular, but it became too much for his system so he was taken off of it and just given the wet food. Sometimes if he seems to be getting constipated he will be given some Miralax. As he's gotten older he hasn't needed it as often. Monkey has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and tested for feline leukemia and aids. Story
Zoey and her sister were abandoned by their owner and a nice neighbor looked after them prior to coming to Second Chance Companions. Unfortunately, they were both pregnant and each had a litter of four kittens, 2 weeks apart. They both have short, kinky tails so are probably a Manx mix. Zoey is short-haired and Amy is a longhaired brown tabby. Four of the eight kittens also have kinky tails. They have spent recent time caring for their kittens but have become more playful as their kittens have grown and been adopted. They have been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for parasites, and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. Please fill out the adoption application online at www.sccpets.com if you are interested in adopting either of these young mommas!November 5, 2024, 12:47 pm

Story
Zada is a sweet little girl with a kinky tail like her mom and 2 of 3 siblings. She was born in foster care after her mom came in pregnant. Her aunt and four two-week-old cousins came, too. She is fairly shy and will need some serious bonding time in her new home. She loves to play with her siblings and with toys of all kinds. Also likes to sit on the cat tree and watch the birds outside. She has been spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated and treated for parasites.
