Story
Nebula is a beautiful female Tortoiseshell/Manx kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 10, 2024 along with her siblings (Curiosity, Helios, Milkyway, Opportunity, and Spirit). Nebula and her siblings were tiny 4-week old babies at that time who had been found in the Waterford Ohio area fending for themselves with no apparent mother in sight. Nebula has a black-and-cream short smooth coat in a tortoiseshell pattern, no tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, cream shading on her chin, and long black whiskers. Nebula and her brothers/sisters went home with a foster family on May 19, 2024 where they continue to enjoy a real home environment instead of a small shelter cage. This little playgirl was given vaccinations and wormer on August 9, 2024. Nebula was spayed on August 20, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 4 lbs that day. Nebula is ready to find a fabulous home of her very own, and she would love to be adopted with one (or two) of her siblings. Curiosity, Nebula and Opportunity are now available for adoption. Please submit an HSOV adoption application if you would like to give any (or all) of these three kittens a home and we will arrange a meet-and-greet with their foster family. Thanks to their foster family for providing a photo of Curiosity, Nebula and Opportunity for their Petfinder/Facebook/Adoptapet listing. Helios, Milkyway and Spirit are being adopted by their foster family who decided that they couldn't part with them (smile).

Story
Smokey is a three year old cat with medium hair length. He was separated from his mother and family at a young age, and adopted to us when he was still fairly little. He has a grey spot on the front of his right eye, but it otherwise doesn't impair his vision or mobility. We are adopting him as we have recently just had our first child, and our priorities have shifted as a result. Smokey is very energetic and needs a lot of attention that we can't give him right now. He has his usual cat mannerism but is otherwise very sweet. Would recommend that he be adopted to a family that already has a cat or otherwise has a lot of experience with cats. He would do great to be able to have other cats around to play with!
