Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check out my tail. Click on my photo to see it. Luke is a beautiful Manx mix who is a lover and a cuddler.  He was found in a rural area where he was likely abandoned.  Luke loves to have his head scratched and to chase his toys. He also loves a good tube of Churu.  He is about 1 year old, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  He is also FIV+.  Please read below about FIV+ kitties.  Despite their diagnosis they can live long, healthy lives if they live indoors and are provided regular veterinary care.   What is FIV?  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV) is a virus that attacks the immune system of cats.  There is no treatment or cure.  FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs.  FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent exposure to illness, sterilized and fed a balanced diet.  They should be seen by a veterinarian at least once a year to ensure their ongoing good health. Transmission:  FIV is passed from cat to cat mainly through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during fights and territorial disputes involving feral and unsterilized males.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water/food bowl and mutual grooming will NOT spread FIV.  There is no evidence that cats in the household with an FIV+ cat will acquire FIV from the FIV+ cat. Lifespan:  Multiple medical studies show that cats who are FIV+ live just as long as FIV-negative cats.  FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV+ cats can live many years without any health problems.    For additional information contact your veterinarian.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 25, 2025, 8:57 am

Story
Big squishy torbie girl.Iris is a big squishy bobtail girl born about April 13, 2019.  She looks like she could be a mix of both Manx and American Bobtail although she has a very exotic looking face.  She has about half a normal length tail.   She was adopted from us as a kitten, and returned 4 years later due to her owner having a health crisis.  She lived with both cats and a dog, but she is either timid around other cats or tends to bully them.  She'd do best as an only cat or with a dog or two.   She is spayed, tested negative for FeLV and FIV before being adopted and has never been outside.  She is microchipped as well.  She has been treated for fleas and her vaccinations updated.  Her adoption fee is $75 More photos and video at  https://photos.app.goo.gl/ajiDTBG7CVQGwwgz9   April 28, 2025, 7:25 pm

Story
Handsome black Manx/Cymric boy.Seeley is a long haired rumpy black Manx/Cymric mix mix. Seeley's owner wound up in a nursing home, and he and his house mate Ichabod ended up in a shelter.  In the confusion of being at the shelter, his paperwork seems to say he was born in May of 2019, or he was born around February of 2017.  When we had him checked by a vet, he said that his teeth looked great, but he couldn't quote an age.  So we will go with a 2017 birthdate. Seeley is sweet and loves to be brushed.  He also loves catnip.  He has a bit of obsession with human toes and will nibble them.  Because he is long haired, he needs a home that will get him a sanitary clip when needed to keep his backside clean.  It is really easy to clip him at home if you have 2 people. He was born with a birth defect that was never addressed.   He has had surgery on it twice now to try to correct it, and he’s greatly improved.  He does need miralax twice a day to keep his stool soft.  He's perfect with the litterbox. He came from a multi cat home.  And he has done well with some of our other fosters, but not well with others.  So we'll call him cat selective. He is up to date on vaccinations, combo tested negative for FIV and FeLV, is microchipped, neutered, and has been wormed and treated for fleas. His adoption fee is $100     More photos and video at  https://photos.app.goo.gl/rgQqMp3SotTbS8Ur7   October 9, 2025, 2:55 pm

Story
Handsome tabby boy .Peter Cottontailless showed up as a stray outside the home of one of our adopters.  So when she asked us to add him to our adoption program, we had to say yes.    Peter is a laid back rumpy riser boy who likes to ride in the car, sleep in his carrier, and visit with people. He is happy to meet strange people and make new friends.  At 12 1/2 pounds he's a big, solid boy. He was born around September 2022.    We still have to find out how he likes other cats.  He does love to play.   Peter is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and has been treated with flea/tick preventive and wormed. He tested FeLV/FIV and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $95.        More photos and video at  https://photos.app.goo.gl/dcd5g63QY4fpiNWMA    October 8, 2025, 11:32 am

Story
Tabby Manx boy.Born 6/6/2023, Scooter is a tabby Manx mix with a cute bobtail. He's a big boy, close to 12 pounds   He was originally pretty spicy, but has warmed up great in his foster home.  He's learned to love sitting on laps and being petted and he does allow himself to be scooped up and held.   He likes to sleep with his foster mom on the couch or in bed at night.  And he loves to play.  He's been great with other kittens and cats, especially females of all ages.  He definitely needs a home with another cat he can cuddle with and groom.  He also needs a patient family as he will need some time to settle in and get comfortable in a new home. He is up to date on vaccinations, wormed, and treated for fleas, neutered, combo tested, and microchipped.   His adoption fee is $95     More photos and video at    https://photos.app.goo.gl/yY1oFAUeKRXQmTBu6     April 25, 2025, 3:51 pm
