If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  Meet Coconut - “Put the lime in the coconut and drink 'em both up.” Hey there, future family! I’m Coconut! Breed: Domestic Short Hair / ManxWeight: 12 pounds of pure awesomenessAge: 6-1/2 years young A Bit About Me:I’m the coolest cat in town, with a personality that’ll make you think you’ve adopted a dog! I’m playful, affectionate, and super interactive. You won’t find me lounging on your lap, but I’ll be right by your side, rubbing against your leg and demanding those sweet head and butt scratches. My curiosity knows no bounds, and while I might be a bit cautious in a new place, give me some time, and I’ll settle right in and steal your heart! Who Do I Get Along With? Kids: Little humans stress me out a bit, so I prefer a more peaceful home. Dogs: If they leave me alone, I’m cool with them. Cats: I’m a fan of confident, outgoing lady cats. Some male cats? Not so much. Honestly, I’m more than enough cat to be your one and only! Health Stuff:I’ve got FIV+ (Feline immunodeficiency virus), which means my immune system isn’t as strong as other cats. But don’t worry! With some extra care to avoid infections, I can live a long, healthy life. Just keep an eye on my dental health and make sure my food is clean, and we’ll be golden! A Few More Things:New places can make me a bit jittery at first. Give me some time to get used to my new digs, and you’ll see just how loving and loyal I can be. I’m vocal, full of personality, and ready to be your best buddy! All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##1968718##

Story
Teah is a beautiful 3 year old all black tail-free Manx. Like any Manx; she is curious, vocal and cuddlly. She is very playful, and loves to sneak attack the kids and dog. We have 4 children she has grown up with and loves all of the attention. She doesn't have any interaction with other cats currently but does well with our dog (Lab). She is 7lbs, she is fed a high quality food on a twice per day schedule via automatic feeder (included). She is in optimal health, vaccines up to date, and health records available. She is spayed, declawed, and microchipped. We absolutely adore Teah, although due to recent discovery of one of our sons allergy to cat dander we have decided to start a search for a new home for her. We will keep her in our home until we find the perfect family for her.
