SPECIAL NEEDS: please read the entire bio before applying :) Meet Bugs! This spunky, chatty, extra floofy, and friendly little guy was rescued from the euthanasia list in Indiana and couldn't be happier to be in foster care and now on the lookout for his forever family! Bugs is the epitome of friendly, always ready to get pets, sit in your lap, and show you that he wants another snack! He is great at independently playing with toys like ball towers or crinkle balls, but he also enjoys a wand toy or other interactive playtime with humans. He is easily won over by treats and truly adores meeting new people and seeing new places. He has been such a confident and friendly guy to all the new people he has met! He will also call for you to try and find you if you aren't in his line of sight and he misses you. Bugs is also super special as he is a manx cat and has no tail! His unique look also comes with some unique traits including a very bunny-esque hop/walk that gives him an irregular stride. Don't let him fool you though, he can seriously sprint! Because his spine is irregular (from not having a tail), he also has unique neurological status. Manx cats, Bugs included, can sometimes experience urinary leakage. To minimize that, we have him on an affordable and easy to administer food that helps him fully empty his bladder in the litter box.  Bugs is friendly and playful with the foster kittens he has met in care and would be most successful in a home with another kitty pal. He has not spent time with dogs in foster care, but would likely do just fine with a cat-friendly dog given appropriate introductions. Bugs has not met kids in foster care, but cat savvy kiddos would do just fine with his friendly and happy go lucky personality. While he may have some special needs, Bugs has not let them hold him back at all and he goes into every day as the happiest cat on earth! We cannot wait to see who is lucky enough to adopt this amazing boy! Fostered in Chicago WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER. Meet Sadie, a sweet and resilient mama cat who has a heart full of love and a story to tell. A year ago, Sadie was found by a kind Southern Illinois man at a dump, struggling to survive. Since then, she’s blossomed into a gentle, affectionate cat, and her family has grown twice over! Sadie is the proud mama of two litters of adorable kittens, and while her little ones are still learning to trust new people, they’re all eager to find their forever homes. Sadie, on the other hand, is a total sweetheart who loves cuddles and attention. Her `adult kittens` can be a bit shy at first, but with patience and kindness, they’ll warm up and show their loving sides. Story
Meet Bluebird — a pint-sized burst of joy! This spunky, tailless wonder is the very definition of kitten happiness. She zooms through the world like it’s her personal racetrack, prancing and hopping while making the most delightfully ridiculous trill sounds. She’s got a big personality in a little body, and her world-class biscuit-making skills will melt your heart as she kneads away with thunderous purrs. Bluebird is affectionate, playful, silly, and absolutely beautiful. She enjoys playing with other kittens and would love a feline buddy to join her adventures. Whether she’s curled up purring or bouncing off the furniture with pure glee, she’s guaranteed to bring joy and laughter into your home. Bluebird does have Manx syndrome, which means she was born without a tail and occasionally has trouble finishing up that last bit of stool — but don’t worry! With a fiber supplement and probiotic mixed into her food, she has normal stools. She just might leave behind the occasional rogue nugget. But honestly, she makes up for that tiny quirk with a huge, perfect personality. If you’re looking for a little whirlwind of love, laughter, and kitten magic, Bluebird is your girl.
