Meet Kit – The Sweet, Quirky Manx Girl 🖤🤍 Kit is a 1.5-year-old black and white Manx who was surrendered to our shelter. With her long, sleek body and signature no-tail look, she’s already unique—but it’s her personality that makes her truly special. Miss Kit is a gentle soul: sweet and quietly curious. She prefers to observe the action from a safe spot, close enough to watch but not right in the middle. Once she feels comfortable, she loves to play and is happy hanging out with both cats (young and old) and even her dog buddy, Stormi. She isn’t a big fan of being picked up and carried around, but she is a lap cat at heart. Kit will happily settle in on your lap for hours and is sure to snuggle up with you at bedtime. Sometimes, she even sits up on her haunches like a little meerkat—it’s ridiculously cute and guaranteed to make you laugh. Kit also has a hearty appetite and is known to get a little too excited about food. Her current obsession? Cornbread! (Don’t worry—we make sure she sticks to her approved menu, even if it means hiding the cornbread in the cabinet.) This sweet, quirky girl is looking for a loving home where she can shine at her own pace, bring endless smiles, and be cherished for the unique cat she is. Could Kit be the one to win your heart? 🐾 Meet Juniper! 🐾 This sassy little Manx is about a year old and ready to find a home of her very own! 💕 Juniper absolutely loves dogs (yes, really!) and would do best in a home with a playful pup to hang out with. She’s not a fan of other cats, though — she prefers to be the queen of her castle 👑 (and trust me, she takes her title seriously). She’s mostly an indoor girl who enjoys lounging around the house but likes a little outdoor adventure now and then. She’s not a lap cat — think of her more as your quiet sidekick who’s happy just being near you, not on top of you. Hunter was named for his main obsession...hunting. Since he was a small kitten just able to walk, he has had two things on his mind: stalking and food. Without available wildlife to stalk, he focused on socked feet, other cats, cat toys, and random items that obviously didn't need to be stalked. Since his "prey" was usually inanimate or attached to a human leg, he came up with ways to make hunting more exciting. Primarily this consists of ending his low-crawl with a dramatic pounce or, if you are lucky, standing on his back feet and waving his front paws in the air like a little black bear. Despite his serious hobby, Hunter is a very affectionate guy. He loves attention and will do anything to get it. When he is tired out from stalking, he will curl up in your lap and sleep the sleep of the brave hunter. Unable to resist his cute appeals, his foster people have rewarded his antics with treats and now they are expected. He is aware of the virtue of sharing and expects his people to behave virtuously. In return, he will give you as much entertainment and snuggles as you can stand.
