Manx kittens & cats in Cathedral City, California

Thumper is a darling little girl!! She is friendly & sweet and likes to be close to her human. She will sit on your lap for hours if you let her and makes for a great "helper" if you are working from your home office. She is believed to be part Manx which is a specialty breed most known by it's stubby, bunny-like, puff tail. Typical of the breed is a condition called "Manx syndrome" which can involve motor skill issues with the lower spine and back legs. Indeed little Thumper has some challenges including hopping on her back legs when getting around. She can still play, jump on your lap, and get around just like any other "normal" kitten. She has been given a full exam by one of our veterinary specialists and has been given a clean bill of health. The only special needs she has is to be provided a shallow litter box to make it easy for her to "hop" in and out of, and to be monitored for any occasional bouts of constipation which can crop up from time to time with this particular breed. Thumper will be available for adoption this Saturday (7/15) at Kahoots in Menifee from 10am to 2pm..
