FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED It’s Munchkin! He is a 2-year-old, 12 LB Maltese/terrier mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter CA. This little guy is happy, friendly, and confident! He loves to go on walks and explore and would love a forever home that takes him on daily walks and adventures every day! Munchkin has done great with other dogs in our care and loves playtime. He would enjoy having another dog in the home as a playmate or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. Munchkin loves hanging out with his people and cuddling! He takes treats gently and is treat motivated, which is great for training! He would love a securely fenced yard to run around and explore, however, he needs supervision in the yard and work on his recall as he is able to climb chain-link fences. While he may be shy at first, given some time, he will bloom like a sunflower! He gets along well with other dogs and is very gentle with them. Although he hasn't had a chance to meet any cat friends yet, his foster mom believes he would also be gentle with them. When meeting strangers, he can be a bit timid initially. He’s not aggressive; he just needs some time to adjust to new family members and environments. Please be patient as he becomes more comfortable with you! :) Although he’s a little apprehensive about bathing, he manages well and enjoys being brushed. He has excellent grooming habits and good walking manners. He is pee-pad trained with an 80% success rate and is making progress! Bebe is not a big barker and is a very calm boy. Currently staying with other dog in her foster home, she gets along well with her, although she may prefer to keep her distance from overly hyper pups. She is comfortable around cats, usually observing them from a distance. Cotton is great with both adults and children, taking her time to approach strangers and greet them quietly. While she tends to be calm, she can also be playful and will sometimes nibble her foster mom's hand when she's excited. Though she’s a bit apprehensive about bathing, she handles it well and enjoys being brushed. Cotton has excellent walking manners and is pee-pad trained. She’s not a big barker, but she might bark happily when excited or to warn other hyper dogs. She doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety and enjoys resting in her kennel, even if she isn’t kennel-trained. Cotton is a gentle, loving girl who truly deserves a forever home.
