Story
MERRY, MERRY HOLIDAY FROM MINNIE! I am a 2-year-old Maltese mix (possibly mixed with Schnauzer or terrier) with quite the story to tell. I was found abandoned in an orchard - imagine that?! So of course, I'm still shy around people, and will take a little while to get to know you. I'm still not able to be petted very much as my experience was traumatic. Without question, I will need someone with patience and understanding of my shy nature, someone who understands I won't be the immediate lap dog, and I will need a quiet home. I am very sweet, love to play with other dogs and I'd be happy with a doggy playmate. Please email for an application.

Story
Bochy is a Maltese terrier mix  with a lot of personality! He’s currently 8 and weighs around 13 pounds and does not shed. Bochy loves playing fetch, snuggling on the couch, and eating peanut butter! While he has had great interactions with school age kids, the arrival of our baby has caused him a lot of stress and anxiety and we are looking to give him the quality of life he deserves. He’s a loyal companion who thrives in a home where he can get plenty of attention and stability. His ideal environment would be with a family that can interact with his playful nature during the day and unwind with snuggles and belly rubs on the couch. He would do best in a home without young children or other dogs. He’s house-trained, although we’ve seen occasional accidents lately due to the stress of the baby. Bochy would be a wonderful addition to the right family—one that can give him the love and care he deserves. We love him deeply and are committed to finding him the right home!

Story
This cutie is Jessie. The reason for the high adoption fee is Jessie‘s adoption fee is going to help us save two additional large dogs and fully vet them. So you can consider Jessie’s adoption fee a generous donation to a wonderful mission. He is currently 5 weeks old, and we think they may be a Maltese terrier mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his life as well as the life of another in its place. Fall in love here: https://youtu.be/4sUW1HEsL1E?feature=shared Jessie is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! He is currently living in a loving foster home till he gets adopted! Jessie is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/672b8eafed45a2877d046e49 Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,600.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
HI - I'M ORLANDO! I'm an 8-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix in need of a forever home. I was recently rescued from a crowded California shelter and now am in a foster home. I get along well with other dogs, but honestly, I'd be happy with a human to call my own. I'm a bit shy at first, but once I get to know you I will be your best friend, and will want to snuggle with you on the couch, sit on your lap, or sleep with you in bed. I weigh about 14-15 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
MERRY, MERRY HOLIDAY FROM MOLLY! Molly is a sweet 5-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix in need of a forever home! She was rescued from a California shelter after being abandoned by her previous owner, and she is now in a foster home. She was a matted mess when rescued, so clearly was not taken care of properly. Despite her past, Molly gets along great with other dogs and is a sweetheart with people. She is pretty well housetrained and is a lap dog! She weighs 15 lbs. Please email for an application. Molly would love a home for the holidays!
