Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Toby is our newest Shih Tzu mix who is full of love and wants to be the center of attention. This little cutie adores being in your lap and would lie there all day if you had the time! Toby is currently into fashion, including sweaters and jackets because he came to Saving Grace heavily matted, requiring a drastic haircut. With all of the TLC he’s receiving in his foster home, we’re already seeing his fur coat growing in. Toby walks well on a leash and has experience riding in a car. He is becoming house trained and is learning to do his business in the yard. He has not been evaluated with children or cats, and he does reasonably well with other dogs, as long as they aren’t hogging all of the human’s attention. He enjoys being in his crate when needed, but his foster family reports that he was trustworthy when left loose in the house. If this little man sounds like the perfect package, make an appointment to meet him!

Story
**AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS** Some dogs come into our program with instant notoriety and rise to a celebrity status quickly. Brom is definitely one of them. As a popular pup at Saving Grace, Brom would love to give back to his community by helping other Saving Grace dogs with major medical needs, our senior dogs, nursing moms, and those who need life-saving heartworm treatments. Through his adoption, Brom will ask his new family to assist him by making a donation of $500 (tax-deductible) in addition to the adoption fee ($395) to help his friends in need. Brom is the cutest in the galaxy! While he might look like a little Ewok, Brom is a bouncy, sweet flirt who will steal your heart. He loves to give little kisses while snuggled next to you and getting his back scratched. Brom also has lots of energy for walks and playing, especially fetch. He’s great with children and other dogs, and wants to make everyone his friend. Brom is almost completely potty trained, and while he is crate trained, he would prefer to be near you. He knows basic commands, but will need some gentle reinforcement to remind him of them. Adventure awaits…with Brom!

Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS ONLY *** Welcome to Saving Grace, Jan! Jan is a friendly girl with an undemanding nature, who warms up quickly to new people. She loves short walks around the neighborhood and is a queen on a leash! She does great coexisting with other dogs and prefers to hang out with her pup friends rather than engage in lots of play. Her favorite spot? Curled up on the couch, soaking up all the coziness she can get. Jan prefers to be around her people and would do well with someone who works from home or is retired. She does not enjoy a crate at night, as she prefers to sleep quietly on the bed with her person. If you are looking for a super friendly, laid-back girl, then Jan could be the one for you! Come meet her and see if she could fit into your family. *A special note about Jan - this gal doesn't mean to be picky, but she will need to remain on a special diet for the rest of her life to help manage bladder stones and keep her feeling her best. Ask one of our adoption counselors for more information!

LOCATION: LINWOOD, NC ADOPTION FEE: $400 www.schnauzersaversrescuers.org MILO is a pure bred MALTESE, 5 yrs old male. He is white and feels like silk. He is UTD on vaccines/rabies and Bordetella, groomed and microchipped. He is neutered and heartworm negative. He’s on heartworm prevention and been dewormed. Milo never meets a stranger, no matter if it’s a dog or person. He adapts well to a new environment rather quickly. This little one is about 13 lbs. And he loves to be the boss, yet not in an aggressive way at all. He likes to talk to you and tell ou stories. Follows you around the house and learns very quickly. First day in his foster home, she moved the gate to enter into another room, turned around and within a minute, Milo moved the gate and followed her. He enjoys going outside in the fenced yard to explore. His foster Mom stays outside with him and he has good recall. He came as a breeder surrender, along with others. These dogs lived outdoors and still learning to go out on command. So Milo would do best being on a consistent schedule or a belly band in the beginning. He does well with other dogs in the home, but does like to take the role of being the leader. Kids should be over 10 as these dogs have never lived with a child of any age. If you’re interested, please complete an application on our website not on ADOPT A PET. We do not ship animals anywhere. We do not charge to complete an application. If you’re asked to pay to apply then STOP right there, you aren’t on our website. WE do NOT get those apps. He is being fostered in Linwood, NC, so you must be willing to come pick him up. If you are not ready to adopt now, please do not ask us to hold a dog. Requirements: No Kids www.schnauzersaversrescuers.org
