Jelly Bean adores belly rubs, treats, and chew sticks, and she brings so much joy with her happy-go-lucky personality. You'd never guess she’s a senior! Mr. Jingles, approx 11 lbsLovingly nicknamed the “grumpy old man,” Mr. Jingles is a total softie once he bonds with his person. He enjoys couch snuggles and belly rubs more than anything. While he’s not overly playful, he occasionally gets the urge to toss around a toy or two. He's great on a leash and also uses pee pads reliably. He’s not big on treats or chews and has a tendency to chew at his paws—possibly due to a chicken allergy (as reported by his previous owner), so a chicken-free diet is recommended. Home Requirements: A fenced yard is a plus but not required—these two are content with walks and indoor potty breaks on pads. They do alert to passersby if they can see out a window and are often adorably confused when people come downstairs—it's part of their charm! They would thrive in a calm, loving home, though some gentle activity and energy would be welcome too. Another dog isn't necessary, but they’ve done well with other pups, especially females. Mr. Jingles can be a bit dominant, but he’s been living peacefully with a small male dog in foster care. Lady’s a 7yo 10lb Maltese mix. She’s dog selective, cat and kid 13+ friendly. She’s housebroken if kept on a schedule but will wear a diaper and use pee pads and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She’s agile, smart, likes squeaky toys, people and going for walks but will bark at people, dogs and noises. She is easy startled so best to sleep in a dog bed on the floor so not to accidentally wake her while sleeping. Lady’s foster requires a calm home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be an only dog, brushed/groomed often to prevent matting along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Lady as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Lady takes medication for a seizure disorder and for her eyes. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from King of Prussia, Pennsylvania for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit. Toby is a small gentleman with a big personality who is ready to find his forever home. He is an approximately 9–10-year-old Maltese Poodle mix weighing just 9 pounds and is currently fostered in King of Prussia, PA. Toby is an easy-going, friendly boy who truly enjoys being around his people. He loves sitting next to you on the couch and will climb onto your lap when he’s in the mood for extra affection, but he is also content to have some independent time. He has a wonderful balance of companionship and self-sufficiency, making him an excellent fit for many types of homes. He gets along well with other dogs and does great with children of all ages. Toby is a minimal barker, walks nicely on a leash, and has a medium energy level. He enjoys daily walks, car rides, and relaxing naps throughout the day. He is mostly housebroken and doing very well with his routine. He can do stairs, does not mind being picked up or handled, and would be fine in a home with or without a yard. While he is not a fan of crates, he prefers and does well in a dog pen. Toby would thrive in a home where someone is around often. He would be happy in either a calm, low-key household or a more active family environment. He can be an only dog or share his home with another canine companion. He warms up quickly, loves people, and adapts easily. One of Toby’s favorite things is dog beds—he happily moves from bed to bed throughout the day.
