They are scared and under-socialized, but with patience and kind routines, they can begin to feel safe and loved. 💖 Personality & Temperament * Very timid and unsure of people * Learning what it means to live indoors and be part of a family * Each dog is different—some may approach sooner, others may need more time to feel safe * Get along with other dogs 🏡 Ideal Home We’re looking for patient adopters who understand that these dogs are starting from scratch and will need time to adjust. Requirements & Important Notes: * Securely Fenced-in yard required: They are not leash trained yet and are too frightened for walks. * Somewhat potty trained: They’re learning to use pee pads indoors and will need continued guidance and routine. * Not leash trained: They will need time to get comfortable with a leash. They do not potty on leash hence the fenced in yard requirement. * A calm, patient home is best, and a friendly resident dog can help them learn faster. 🌱 What They Need From You * Time * Patience * Soft voices * Gentle, slow moving hands * A commitment to helping them learn that the world is safe In return, you’ll get to witness one of the most beautiful transformations: a scared little dog discovering joy, comfort, and love—maybe for the very first time. He came to us scared and under-socialized, but with patience and kind routines, he is beginning to feel safe and loved. His foster folks say his cuddles are phenomenal! 💖 Personality & Temperament * Theodore has been very timid and unsure of people, but he is starting to enjoy his nightly cuddles with his foster folks! * He gets along with other dogs, and has started enjoying the occasional play time! * He really enjoys a "game" with his foster mom- she tosses a small treat for him to search and find!
