PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION FRANCESCA IS IN FOSTER CARE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS..THE ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES HER TRANSPORT This pretty Maltese mix is approx 2.5 to 3 yrs old and weighs 10 lbs She is a sweet little girl, but is a fear biter when in a crate and will growl at new people that she does not know.. once she feels comfortable with you she becomes your best friend and is the ultimate lap dog, she begs to sit on your lap... she is very needy and will follow you everywhere, she tends to get under her fosters feet and so is not suitable for an older person that may trip over her..she gets along with the other dogs her size and will run out to the yard with them, she seems to be fairly well house trained but not perfect and needs an owner that can work with her, and because she gets scared and is a fear biter we will not adopt to anyone with children she is a really nice little girl and is going to make a great companion for someone. we only adopt to experienced dog owners IF INTERESTED THERE IS AN APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE https://www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org The total adoption fee of $500 ( includes ,the transport, interstate health cert,spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, distemper ,canine influenza, and microchip. DOB 5-25-2024 Ayman is a sweetheart! This little boy is social, loves toys and friends to play with and gets along good with others. He is neutered, heartworm negatiive and received his ProHeart 6 injection. His adoption fee is 750.00 and his transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.

Meet Milo!!! This special boy is a 4 1/2 year old, 11 lbs maltipoo. He is the complete package. This sweet boy is good with other dogs both big and small. He is also good with cats. Milo is an active little guy that has the best time running and playing with his foster brothers and sisters. They all have the best time in their fenced in yard. Milo really enjoys playing but he is also all about the most important thing--YOU! Milo loves his foster mom. If she sits down he is right there. If she goes to the kitchen Milo is right behind her to see if he can help. At bed time, you got it, trotting down the hall with you. This great guy would be an excellent companion for a young single person or a great addition to a family with children 6 and older. (to our knowledge he has not been around toddlers and we don't want to set him up for failure.) Milo is so small that he could go everywhere with you that doggies are allowed even in the airplane on vacation! This boy does not want to be left behind.
