You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Meet Oregano! This cutie pie is about 7 months old and an absolute lovebug. She was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina along with her siblings (if you’ve been keeping an eye on our website, she’s sisters with Mahi-Mahi who recently was adopted.) This entire litter has been incredible, they are all so friendly and affectionate. Oregano is very outgoing and loves to meet new people. She loves kids and she loves other kitties, and she even gets along really well with the resident dog! She’s just a great girl all around, can’t go wrong with this one! This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application'   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms       Adoption fee is: $200Can’t adopt? Consider donating! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.    Meet Paprika! This little 3 month old kitten has personality plus!! And check out her super unique hair – it can’t seem to decide if it wants to be super long or short, but she’s definitely very soft and such a unique color! She and her sister (Chili Pepper) were rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. She is very outgoing and friendly and was so excited to explore her foster home! Even though she is the tiniest little thing, she bosses all the other cats around (even the big adult male cats!) Don’t get us wrong, she loves the other cats and is very sweet to them, but they all know that she gets to eat first and they have to wait their turn! She loves the kids in her foster home and will climb right up onto their lap and kiss them on the lips. She’s a definite lap cat and snuggle bug. She enjoys playing with her toys as well.  She’s not afraid of anything, not even dogs. If you’re looking for an awesome pair, she gets along fabulously with her sister, Chili Pepper! We give discounts for adopting pairs! This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Sage! This gorgeous little girl has an amazing personality to go along with her good looks. She is an absolute snuggle bug!! She slept in her foster mom’s arms in bed every night. She will run right up to you every time you walk into the room, and as soon as you sit down, she’s immediately on your lap! She was rescued from our partner shelter in North Carolina, and she’s been a lover since day 1. She’s about 8 months old. Her favorite thing is back scratches – she loves being scratched back and forth both ways along her spine. She gets along really great with all the other kitties she’s being fostered with. She’ll make a wonderful addition to one very lucky family! This cat is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/Felv. Story
PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION: Edgar is an adult Maine Coon. He is a big, cuddly boy. Edgar needs a diet of good quality wet food, not dry. He has problems with constipation. He has tested positive for FIV, but is in good health. Recent dental. He will be stressed by other male cats and will be aggressive, but is fine if those other cats are calm. He gets along with females okay. He does not like dogs. He is very affectionate and sweet toward people. He is stressed around small children. Edgar needs in an adopter who has a good relationship with their vet. Edgar is trained to allow claw clipping and likes carriers. He will need frequent claw trims. He is very good with medical care, including oral medication and fluids. He is a large cat, and Maine Coons are smart and need a lot of enrichment in their environment in order to not become destructive out of boredom. The right adopter will understand that a large long haired Maine Coon will need certain additions in their environment and diet. We are not sure exactly how old Edgar is, but we suspect over eight years.

Story
I rescued Jimi from the Montco SPCA in 2014 as a 6 week old kitten. He is healthy and received a clean bill of health from his vet in August '24. He does not have special needs nor meds. He grazes on dried cat food and water. He is loving and adorable. He loves to cuddle and nap in the afternoons. He loves to look out the windows and watch the world go by. If you have a "cat dancer" toy or a laser pointer, he will love you forever. I think Jimi is sometimes a "watch cat". He will warn you when a stranger arrives at the door. At first he will be cautious but if he senses everything is ok, he will warm up to the new guest. I think he will do well in home with many windows possibly another cat for another playmate. Needless to say an attentive owner would be key as well.
