#### -Vision & hearing impaired and will do best in a patient home with a confident dog to help guide her- Luna is a 13-year-old Lhasa Apso mix with a big heart and plenty of spirit left to share. She has only one eye, which gives her a unique charm, and she will need a home with another confident, friendly dog who can help guide her and show her the ropes as she navigates her world. Luna can be a bit standoffish with new people or if approached too quickly, so she does best with those who understand the importance of moving slowly and respectfully. Once she knows you’re her person, her playful, puppy-like personality shines through, and she becomes a loving and engaging companion. Despite her age, Luna still has lots of spark and enjoys being part of daily life. She is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the time, support, and gentle guidance she needs to feel safe and confident. With the right family, Luna will reward you with devotion, character, and a joyful spirit. ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Tofus estimated birthday is 1/17/24 by hsppr We had a dna test done when we adopted him he was listed as a dachshund mix, for health concerns on if he was dachshund for back issues but not dachshund. He can be a shy guy at first but is a super loving dog. Unfortunately we are working much longer hours. Hes a good boy and loves to sleep in the bed he is good for baths and toe nail trims would love another dog to play with and does good with proper introduction. Tofu is not the dog that loves car rides hes has always gotten a little frothy and drools but seems to do best held backwards in your lap
