Story
Hi, my name is Pongo and I`m a Labrador Retriever mix! I`m a young and goofy guy who came to the shelter as a stray, but my owners never came looking for me. I was pretty scared when I first arrived, but now that I know I`m safe, I`ve blossomed into a sweet and playful guy! I love my toys, treats and all my doggie pals at Auburn Field Canine Services daycare so I would probably do well with another dog in my new home, however I am a bit too much for cats. If interested in learning more about me, then complete the application so we can setup a play date!My adoption fee is $225.We do not have open hours for public viewing of our adoptable animals. We are by appointment only.If interested in adopting, please complete our adoption application. Once your application is approved, an appointment will be scheduled to visit with your desired pet.ONLINE APPLICATION can be found at: www.marshfieldpetshelter.org/adoption-applicationAll animals are vet examined, spayed/neutered and microchipped. If old enough, they receive routine vaccinations.

Story
Are you in search of a running partner? Then Daisy Mae is the girl for you!Sweet Daisy Mae has loads of energy and needs a family who will take her on daily walks and adventures. She is friendly and full of smiles, and is learning how to play fetch.Daisy doesn`t know her own strength, so no families with children under the age of 8 years old. She gets along with some dogs, but will most likely chase cats.Poor Daisy Mae was surrendered at the end of April because her family was downsizing to live in a camper and didn`t think she would fit in. All of this change was terrifying for Daisy, and she is still quite stressed by the shelter environment. Daisy Mae is spayed, has all her shots, is microchipped and all ready to go to her new forever home. If you`d like to meet this gorgeous gal, please read our adoption requirements and fill out an application online. Our Adoption Team will review your application and contact you to set up an appointment to meet Daisy Mae if you are approved. Thank you!

Story
I`m Daya, I came to HSMC as a stray. I was really scared and unsure of things, I didn`t understand why I was coming here and not going back home. Staff assured me it was okay and they would try to find my home. A lot of time went by, I kept waiting and my family never showed up. In the meantime, staff kept trying to make friends with me and I began to trust them. I`ve realized my family isn`t coming for me, so here I am, ready to find a new family to love me. I am an energetic and happy girl. I love my people once I get comfortable with them. I think I would prefer to be the only dog in the home. I might take some time to warm up, but I think in time we can become the best of friends.

Story
Junie here, where are my lab lovers? I will make sure to bathe you in my affection. If you don't like being licked, I'm not the dog for you. I will be the best snuggling, walking, and retrieving girl a person can have. My foster mom has told me about having my very own family that will adore me and love me as much as I love them. Can that dream really come true? You may have already heard my story about being found with Johnny and how it is believed that we were dumped. We waited in the same area for a week for our people to return, but that didn't happen. We were getting thin and really scared. We needed to be trapped so we could get the help we needed. After being trapped, things really started to look up.  I don't let my foster mom out of my sight for very long. She gives the best hugs and she scratches, feeds me, plays with me, and gives me those yummy treats.  I love being next to her.  All she has to do is call my name and I come running. She has found I'm a little shy around kids so older respectful kids would be best for me.   I really want to learn to live inside a home and a few basic obedience commands will be helpful.  Are you willing to help me with that? I am kennel trained and will go in when told.  It would be ideal for me to have a kennel in my new home so I can go chill when needed.   I'm a pretty easy going gal that is up for new adventures and I'm excited to see what the future holds. With that said, I really love Johnny, but I'm ready for us to go our separate ways and start fresh.   Are you ready to love me and see what an amazing dog I am? You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt Name: Junie D.O.B: Unsure, but vet will give an estimate at upcoming appointment  Breed: Lab mix Sex: Female  Weight: 61 lbs Altered: Yes Adoption: 400 Good with Cats: I'm not sure yet.  Good with Dogs: Yes, I enjoy other dogs. I did growl while I had a high value treat, but corrected easily.  Good with Kids: Probably older, respectful kids. Special Requirements: None.  *Positive reinforcement obedience training is a great way to bond with your new family member. It can also help set up a relationship with greater odds of success integrating your new pet into your family. Anyone who provides proof of completed positive reinforcement training will receive a 100 dollar refund from Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc! If you have questions or are wondering if the class you want to take qualifies please reach out! ♥ Fetch Foster and Rescue Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization ##2174863##
