Their mom is still a stray who they have not been able to catch, so she continues to have litter after litter. Rosie and Daisy ended up at the kill shelter, but luckily, they were able to get into a foster home in Arkansas while they wait to travel to Wisconsin on 1/10/26. To make the trip, Rosie needs a foster or adopter commitment in place. Without a home commitment, she will not be able to secure her spot. Meet Rosie Rosie is a playful and friendly puppy who is beginning to explore the world and learn about life in a home. She appears to be a Lab mix and is full of energy and curiosity. Rosie enjoys playing with other dogs and is eager for attention and love from her foster family. Rosie would benefit from a foster or adoptive home that can provide structure, patience, and guidance as she grows and learns basic training. You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**

Zeus is an adorable 7 month old Lab/Corso mix. Very playful, very high energy! Potty trained but may have an occasional accident. He is a puppy and will become the best dog you help him to become. He is a total cuddle bug! Would do best in a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and get some of his energy out. You must be able to get him neutered when he turns a year old! He does like kids, but with small kids he does not know his size and knocks them over. I am fostering him because he was in a bad situation. He is still learning his manners and is very treat motivated. He has been around a cat and did well with it with a slow introduction. Same with other dogs as it needs to be a slow introduction also. Please email me if you have any other questions. Fee may be negotiable.
