He wears his heart on his sleeve with big goofy emotions, he's a self proclaimed toy expert , loves his people fiercely, good with most dogs with slow introductions and he adores kids. George isn't aware of his size or strength and he barrels through life so he's best matched with older kids until he matures. Crate & house trained. George is curious but respectful of cats. He is ready to find his home in time for Christmas morning. Rey of Hope Rescue is a locally based dog & cat rescue in Milwaukee serving all of SE Wisconsin. Story
Meet Daisy! Breed: Pointer - Mixed Breed Age: 3 years old Weight: 60 lbs Good with: Dogs, Cats & Kids Personality: Calm & composed with a playful side Potty Trained: Yes, once shown the appropriate place to go. Crate Trained: Yes Backstory: Daisy was an owner surrender from Oklahoma. Her previous owners had numerous dogs and limited resources to care for them, leaving Daisy in very poor condition. When they took her to the shelter seeking medical care, they were informed of her critical state. After learning how severe her condition was, they made the difficult decision to relinquish her so she could receive the care she needed to survive. Today, Daisy is a happy, healthy girl who has adjusted seamlessly to her foster home. She has shown to be cautious when meeting men and will require some extra patience in order to feel comfortable when meeting them. She would make a wonderful addition to a family with children, as she was very much loved by the two young kids in her previous home, with whom she grew up. Daisy gently takes treats, enjoys lounging on the couch or her dog bed, walks well on a leash and rarely barks. She takes a couple days to let her guard down enough to play with new dogs. Once she’s comfortable, she is happy to romp around with her friends, but also enjoys a good lazy day. Lounging outside is her jam, especially when the weather is nice! Daisy is UTD on vaccines, spayed and takes monthly preventatives. Rey of Hope Rescue is a locally based dog & cat rescue in Milwaukee serving all of SE Wisconsin. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . Story
Ryder was found as a stray in rural Georgia and ended up at a high-kill shelter. He was brought up to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin on 10/26. He was an overall fan favorite at the shelter with his silly and playful personality. He is currently in Brown Deer, Wisconsin settling into his foster home. The best way to describe this boy: he is a silly puppy in a big dog's body! With that being said, he needs a little training to help with the puppy behaviors such as nibbling on foster siblings when they don't want to play anymore, he is getting better about jumping, not pulling on the leash, and other puppy behaviors. Everything about him is just innocent puppy tendencies and we are sure he will do amazing over time with a little training and consistency. He spent the majority of the first part of his life in a shelter so he never really got the chance to learn those things or have anyone to teach him. He seriously is a total sweetheart and does not have a mean bone in his body. He is friendly to everyone he meets! He gets along with his foster siblings great and loves to play with all the neighbor dogs and gives kisses 😘 His foster parents are starting to teach him tricks like sit and shake! 😊🐾 He is working on potty training and doing very well with only a few accidents in the house so far. He is working on walking on the leash and does well in the crate while his people are at work! He is not off-leash yet and needs time and training before he gets to that point. He has not met any cats yet. He would do best in a house with older children or no children just because he does not know his size and strength and may bump into them on accident. He would be great for someone with an active lifestyle and not for an apartment. f you are interested in adopting, please check out our website and fill out an application: www.muttlife.org We are located out of Cedarburg, Wisconsin and adopt out dogs throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. Adoption fees for all dogs are $500. Please check out our website for more on our adoption process, to apply to foster or volunteer!

Story
Adoptable 💙FLYNN💙 is looking for his forever home! 🥰 FLYNN was surrendered from his previous owner to the local animal shelter in rural Georgia. He just made the trip up to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on 11/16 and is doing well in his foster home! 🐾 He is such a sweet boy who loves to follow you around the house supervising chores, hanging out on the couch watching TV, or going for a walk in the neighborhood. He walks well on a leash, is potty trained, crate trained, and gets along with everyone in his foster home including dogs (even small pups), people, and cats! He does so well playing with all the other dogs and is gentle with the littles. He respects the boss cat in the house and does not acknowledge when the cat is trying to mess with him. He does not jump and has nice mellow energy in the house. Flynn was likely abused before he got to the shelter because he came completely terrified of people, especially men. They worked really hard with him to be more comfortable around people and he has come sooo far! He still gets a little nervous around some men or if there is arguing/yelling. He does not do anything aggressive whatsoever but is just afraid. He seriously is the sweetest boy and it is awesome to see him coming out of his shell more and more every day. He is a big boy so would not be ideal for an apartment dog.
