This gorgeous youngster is Belda, she is a Lab mix right around 7 months young. She is a fun loving happy girl who loves to play and have fun. Her and her siblings were in need of rescue so SPR offered to help them out. Loves people but may just need a little time to acclimate is all, and then she is ready to give some sweet puppy kisses. She is trying real hard to learn her house manners but may need just a little work is all. Does great with other doggy friends with a proper intro of course, but has not been cat tested. She is now completely vetted and ready to come to WI and find her own forever family. I have so much to learn, discover and explore - just a tiny sponge who is ready to absorb everything you have to teach me and show me. That isn’t as exotic and daunting a task as it might sound. Each day I just need to be introduced to one new thing like the sound of a vacuum, a blender or a door bell, walking up and down a step, a ride in a car, hearing a motorcycle or a truck, going somewhere to see new people, even maneuvering a fallen log on a walk. You get the idea, so many things that seem common to you are completely new to me. Speaking of growing, I may be tiny now but I do plan on getting bigger so I would love to take obedience classes to learn proper manners and social skills. I also know I have to practice something called house-training so I know proper potty behavior. A routine and lots of yummy treats and praise will go a long way to helping me master house-training when I potty outside. Puppies and dogs need love, exercise, mental stimulation and consistency to be healthy, happy and confident. I am typically very open to all sorts of housemates; I can be a bit mischievous and may find any other critter as a potential playmate so they will need to understand that about me. I often explore the world with my mouth and while I am teething I like to chew; my little puppy teeth are very sharp so if I am around children we should always be supervised. It is important that children learn about respecting me, too, and treat me gently because I am fragile. Raising a puppy is a big responsibility, a lot of work, and it may interrupt your sleep cycle for a bit, but a courteous and well-behaved dog is certainly worth the investment and I promise to be loyal, love you unconditionally and be a companion forever. I just know I will bring joy and laughter into your home and cannot wait to meet you. Let the adventures begin!#1
