Reggie is a very sweet and cuddly boy. He has been with me since before I had my daughter and is very good with babies and kids. He does not need to be kenneled but sometimes chooses to use it by himself so definitely doesn’t mind it. Outside he has either been on a cable or worn an electric collar. He was attacked by a large male dog when he was a puppy and then again when he was still young so he has always been a little tense and defensive around male dogs but is good with females. Overall he is pretty chill but gets excited to meet new people. It breaks my heart to find a new home for him but unfortunately I will be starting a second job soon and I want him to have all the love and attention he deserves.

I am a yellow retriever mix with the most beautiful wavy golden coat. I have an adorable stumpy tail that won't clear your coffee table even with my wiggliest wiggles! I love to use my brain and will do anything for treats! ANYTHING! I am a touch more mellow than my bro. I am a master at finding the door to go out and go potty! I have almost got potty training mastered! I'm going to need some help with leash training! I currently use leashes for toys but I hear they are good for walking silly boys like me! Neptune is SO close to being parasite-site, but he's still got another week or two of treatment to get there. Thanks for being patient with our impatient boy, as he just wants to bust out of here! He has a beautiful sleek, wavy, onyx coat with a fancy tuft of white fur on his chest. He loves head scratches and booty itches! His whole body wiggles with delight when he gets attention from people! Neptune is hoping to join an active family who can help him learn basic manners. He is very smart and will get creative with his curious brain! He is an energetic working boy who wants to please his humans. Neptune is work toward being housebroken. Dealing with long doubts on parasites set us back a little in potty training but he is so close to getting it right! Neptune would do best with adults who understand how to be the pack alpha and understand retrievers/herding dogs or be willing to go through puppy kindergarten to learn doggy manners together! Hi, I'm Mario! My favorite pass time activities include squirrel watching, chasing squirrels, going on walks to hunt squirrels and dreaming about squirrels. I'm told I'm very smart and learn new things quickly. While I seem perfect on the outside I've got a few issues I've been working on and could use some continued help with. I'm kind of awkward and goofy at times, but aren't we all? I love kids, especially the ones who like to play with me! I like to make friends with most other dogs, but I'm still learning what the appropriate way to meet them is. Cats.. why don't they want to play with me? I love a good routine, so if you think you are up for it I think we could be best friends! From the foster parents: Mario is a very sweet boy and smart too! He's a lab mix, but don't let the photos fool you; he is smaller than he looks weighing in around 45-50lbs. He's surprisingly very soft to pet and tends to shed a lot, but he doesn't mind being brushed. Mario was found wondering the streets in the city and taken in as a stray. When his previous owners never claimed him, Lucky Paws jumped in and rescued him. He's crate trained, potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, shake, down and a few others. Mario is a submissive dog with his humans and doesn't like getting yelled at when being naughty. He tends to act out when he doesn't get enough attention according to his standards, however he doesn't act out when you stick to a good routine. He likes to talk (bark) a lot more than some people enjoy; especially if there's a squirrel, dog or mail man around. He needs a home with a fenced in yard, because he will run off if not on a leash or in a fenced in area. He loves kids, but would do best in a home with older kids who will not let him run out the front door when you're not looking. He has some anxiety issues and is a bit high strung.
