Story
Meet Raven! A sweet and affectionate 5-month-old Labrador retriever mix with a heart full of love and a nose full of curiosity. Raven is all about exploring new places, playing with her favorite toys, and snuggling up with her humans after a fun-filled day. She’s a fast learner when it comes to food (she’s a big fan!) and is making great strides with her house training, though it’s still a work in progress. With no accidents in her kennel so far, Raven is well on her way to being the perfect companion. She sleeps all through the night in crate to ensure she's ready to take on the day after a good rest! Her gentle and loving nature will win you over in no time! She’s good with other dogs. Apply to adopt Raven at: https://tailsofhopewi.org/adoptable-animals-2

Story
Hi, I'm Mario! My favorite activities include squirrel watching, chasing squirrels, going on walks to hunt squirrels, and dreaming about squirrels. I’m intelligent and learn new things quickly. I’m goofy at times, but aren't we all? I love kids, especially the ones who like to play with me! I like to make friends with most other dogs, but I'm still learning what the appropriate way to meet them is. Cats.. why don't they want to play with me? I love a good routine, so if you think you are up for it I think we could be best friends! From the foster parents: Mario is a very sweet boy and smart too! He's a lab mix, but don't let the photos fool you; he is smaller than he looks weighing in around 45-50lbs. He's surprisingly very soft to pet and tends to shed a lot, but he doesn't mind being brushed. Mario was found wondering the streets in the city and taken in as a stray. When his previous owners never claimed him, Lucky Paws jumped in and rescued him. He's crate trained, potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, shake, down and a few others. Mario is a submissive dog with his humans and doesn't like getting yelled at when being naughty. He tends to act out when he doesn't get enough attention according to his standards, however he doesn't act out when you stick to a good routine. He likes to talk (bark) a lot more than some people enjoy; especially if there's a squirrel, dog or mail man around. He needs a home with a fenced in yard, because he will run off if not on a leash or in a fenced in area. He loves kids, but would do best in a home with older kids who will not let him run out the front door when you're not looking. He has some anxiety issues and is a bit high strung.

Story
Penelope is a very sweet little lady! She is about 5 years old and is a Pit mix. She is approximately 40 lbs, does well with cats, but prefers to be the only dog. She has a lot of puppy energy and loves to play! Penelope would be an easy addition to an experienced dog owner. Penelope needs a fenced in yard.
