Story
Cardi is a 6 year old, spayed lab mix. She has hemolytic anemia. And some separation anxiety. Owner says that she's working too many hours and for shifts that are too long for her to be able to keep Cardi a happy dog. This is a situation for one of those animal angels out there who are blessed to have the means to take care of a dog with medical issues into their senior years. We know you're out there! This is a dog that needs you. Her adoption donation is $100Fill out an adoption application at sccpets.comDecember 16, 2024, 1:43 am

Story
Milo would love to have a new home with kids and possibly another dog? Milo, like most 2 year olds does have lots of energy but will settle down after exercise. He lives with kids and seems to like them and even though he hasn't had much exposure to other dogs he enjoyed them-he has had no experience with cats. Milo knows how to sit, spin, paw and to down and is good on a leash and is crate and house trained. Owner said he would like to see him in a home with a fenced yard and people who can spend lots of time with him. He does need neutered and that would be included in his adoption donation. If you would like to meet him to possibly adopt him please fill out an application on our website, SCCPETS.COM, once approved you will be put in contact with his owner. His adoption donation will be $300.January 29, 2025, 2:40 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tiger came to us as a local surrender. Tiger has been raised on a farm with plenty of family and children. When Tiger was a puppy he was hit by a drunk driver which resulted in a costly surgery on his hind end. Tiger has been very resilent and he has no idea that he walks a bit differently than other dogs, there is nothing that this boy can't do! He is completley healed but it is the vet's recommendation is to keep his weight on the slight side. Tiger is a social, friendly, playful, active dog who deserves a fabulous active home and plenty of love.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 18, 2024, 12:07 pm

Quentin is a rescue from rural California. While shy and it takes a bit to warm up, he is dog friendly and is good with all other dogs, completely housebroken, very quiet and sweet and loves to cuddle, he also is very laid-back and calm. He is a wonderful pup to have. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him. 360 2580702 💕💕💕💕💕

Story
Great news! My adoption fee has been paid in honor of an HSSW alumni. Here's what you need to know about me:I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I may jump and play rough. I don't mean to, I just get really excited when I play! It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without cats. We just don't get along - even if they don't mind me, I can't be in the same home with them.I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Primary Color: Black Weight: 84 Age: 1yrs 2mths 2wks
