**Fostered in Tacoma, WA, and ready for meet & greets!** 🐾 Meet Kawasaki! 🐾 Meet Kawasaki, a handsome boy who will fill your life with joy and excitement! Making his way to you, this cute Lab mix pup is on track to be a large companion, potentially reaching over 80 lbs as he grows into his paws—though, as with all things in rescue, that's just an educated guess! Kawasaki is doing wonderfully in his current foster home, where he's made friends with a pack of three dogs. He's crate-trained and house trained. He's even started to communicate when he needs to go outside by sitting at the door and whining, showing just how smart he is by also mastering bell training. Playful, sweet, and endlessly curious, Kawasaki is sure to bring you lots of joy. His treat motivation makes continued training a breeze. He's currently living with two teenage boys and fits right in, acting like just one of the guys. Plus, he's excellent in the car, making him the ideal companion for errand runs and road trips. Since Kawasaki is still a young pup, he needs a family ready to commit to his training and socialization. Adoptive families should be ready to help him perfect his leash skills, making him a fantastic partner for neighborhood walks and scenic hikes. Get ready for a life filled with affection, as Kawasaki will repay your love and dedication with lots of kisses and loyal companionship. Kawasaki might be your perfect match if you're looking for a big hunk of love to add to your family! 🐶❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/656e15bedf9fe6a8b503a29f Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Loyal, loving, charming, funny, gorgeous. Great house manners, amazing with adults and other dogs, good on leash and an absolute goofball. Mellow indoors and so much fun to play with outside- meet Jayce. Jayce is a beautiful tan and white pittie lab mix, approximately 3 years old. Jayce currently weighs around 80 lbs and is fully grown! He is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. He has a medium length Labrador coat, a Labrador playful personality, and allllll of the people-loving-ness that pitties are known for. Celebrate Jayce’s birthday with him here: https://youtu.be/Ca5tibxE5Qs?si=rfqI30lORW6m5VeX Jayce loves to be scratched right behind his ears, it’s the quickest way to his heart. His kisses are hard to get though, he doesn’t give those out for free and only those that are truly worthy get kisses from Jayce. He is very soft and strikingly handsome! Jayce is going to make someone a best friend. He’s not jumpy, or mouthy, he’s a very enjoyable dog to play with! He loves to throw a stuffed animal around to entertain himself, and yet has a cool relaxed side to his personality, he’ll show this by laying down next to you while you finish a conversation with a friend or work from home. He has a wonderfully balanced energy level. He loves water, friends, car rides, toys, and belly rubs. Fun fact about Jacyce … fireworks do not phase him one bit! His foster dad reported no issues with the July 4th fireworks show nearby this year! Jayce does prefer a calmer quieter household, he can overwhelm and get nervous with too much commotion in a household. So if you want a furry companion to take with you on hikes, enjoy the outdoors and then join you in a nice relaxing evening at the house with some of your closest friends, Jayce is the pup for you. He loves to be outside and absolutely loves the water. He’s even done well on boats! He would make a great addition to a semi active household. Jayce does get a little nervous around children, they’re unpredictable, and we cannot know his past. We recommend Jayce for a child-free home. Jayce also has great house manners, he’s never too rowdy indoors, and his foster family reports that he is fully potty trained. Jayce is VERY dog friendly and is so tolerant with dogs that have rough play styles. He loves it! Jayce has been cat-tested here at the rescue, and we recommend a kitty-free home for him. Jayce has great leash skills and already knows some basic commands. He has a really nice balanced energy about him and would be a great running or hiking companion and as well as a chill around the house type of pup. Jayce is such a sweet, loyal and fun dog. He’s easy-peasy, he just needs a little affection, a little adventure, and a couple “pupperoni” sticks daily. This boy has been waiting for his forever family for over a year now. If Jayce seems like your kind of guy, please reach out. His adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below, would be more than happy to answer any specific questions you may have about Jayce. Alayna, a director at 3LP, has kindly placed her phone number at the below as well, if you would like to chat over the phone! Jayce needs a soft place to land, and he needs it soon. We are willing to test Jayce with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
**Fostered in Marysville, WA and ready for meet and greets!** Rocky would be a wonderful family dog, or just a great companion dog. He would be a great first dog for a new dog parent, he’s so loving and loyal! This social boy thinks everyone is his best friend, and he’s ready for adventure. He happily runs to anyone he sees for attention and affection, with a wagging tail and a smile on his face. He’s great in the car, great on leash, big and small dog friendly, so polite and respectful, well-mannered and sooooo cute. Rocky is a rescue favorite- beloved by volunteers and staff alike! Watch Rocky here: https://youtu.be/azZSAfanBzU?si=xQxlVzBa_QgKqGgX Rocky is about 10 months old, his surrenderer reports that his dad is a pure-bred Chocolate Lab, and his mom is a pittie mix. We think he will be about 60 lbs when full grown, but of course can’t make any guarantees. He is a playful pup who loves to play with toys, people and other dogs. He would make a great tug-of-war partner! Rocky is a fun time for dogs of all shapes and sizes, here at the rescue he’s spent time with dogs ranging from 15-100 pounds, and he’s done well with all of them! Rocky is great at tailoring his play-style to his play-mate. He’s a very respectful and inclusive player. Rocky is an affectionate boy who loves to get pets and give kisses. After a good play session, he will even snuggle up for a nice nap. Rocky loves to snuggle, see for yourself in his video. One of the cutest things about Rocky is the way he “checks in” during playtime. He’ll leave his doggy friends to come press against your legs, and get a few pets. Not only is it adorable, it’s a great sign for future trainability. Raised in a loving foster home where he's been socialized with other dogs and older kids, Rocky is more than ready to find his forever family. Whether it's an active household or a home with older kids, or other dogs to play with, Rocky is sure to thrive in an environment filled with love and laughter. Rocky would not be a good fit for an apartment, or a home with cats. Rocky already has great house manners, and his foster mom reports him to be fully crate and potty trained. He has great leash skills, he’s an easy car rider- this cutie is set to for success and ready for his forever family! Rocky does well out and about as well, he’s friendly with strangers, respectful of his surroundings and easy going. He checks in with his person a lot when he’s in new spaces! He’s such a good boy. Rocky is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Currently fostered in Texas, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to travel to his forever family in the PNW or NE areas. With his playful antics and goofy demeanor, Rocky is sure to bring endless joy and happiness to any home lucky enough to welcome him in. So what are you waiting for? Apply for Rocky today and prepare to fall head over heels in love with this sweet pup! Look at Sunny and tell me dogs don’t smile! It just isn’t true! The best part is that sunshine smile matches the way it feels to spend time with him. This dog has a zest for life that has made me personally want to experience more alongside him and he makes it easy to do. Great in the car, easy-on-leash, steady energy and he honestly makes you feel like the most amazing and important person in the whole wide world. Who doesn’t want that in a dog? If you have ever wanted to be the reason for the sparkle in a dogs eye, Sunny is your boy. His face lights up in a way that can make the good days better and the bad days not so bad. To add to his almost cliche Labrador-like wholesomeness, he is a fetch all-star! If you’re up for it, he is too,but if not, cozy couch time is equally great! Sunny enjoys other playful dogs and his enthusiasm for play is seriously entertaining to sit sideline for. If there was potential for a perfectly-paired-playmate for him it would be a fun-loving, light-hearted female dog. Those are his favorite buddies! But honestly, if it were all up to Sunny, he would be your-one-and-only! He has more than two dogs worth of love to give that’s for sure! If you are a bit of a social butterfly, you and Sunny could be the new Sunny & Cher ( see what I did there.) This guy can work a room, greeting guests with a warm welcome and enthusiasm is his specialty! When y'all aren’t hosting your neighbors and family and friends, Sunny is ready to be your adventure buddy. With his A+ car rider skills and well-mannered leash skills, whether it's errands or a weekend getaway, this boy is ready! All those trails and look-out points you have saved for someday…well with Sunny, today will be the day! And if you are planning on training for a 5K in the new year, Sunny is up for that too. We didn’t know that until he was the special guest at a Run Club in the city where he showed how beautifully he keeps pace for a jog and can stay focused even when running by ducks and every type of wheeled thing possible. Before or after all the fun, Sunny will join y’all on the patio at your favorite spot and just be happy to be there with you. An ideal home for Sunny would include a yard or access to open space for the occasional game of fetch or for a little nap in the sun. At 60 lbs he is a medium large dog but is fully crate trained and is quiet in or out of his crate so small-home living would be great too! More than anything Sunny needs to shine for someone who looks at him with the same golden-good love he gives. This boy is smart, attentive, adoring, and a wonderful companion. If any part of Sunny speaks to what you are looking for in a canine-companion, please reach out to Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org she will be happy to help answer any questions to determine if he is the best fir for you and your life. He is being fostered in Texas and ready for a virtual meet and greet. We are ready to answer any questions you have about Sunny. An angel sponsor has graciously covered part of the adoption fee to help make it more affordable for loving families. The total adoption fee is featured with the sponsor already deducted. **Fostered in Portland, OR and ready for meet and greets!** Meet Little Lady: Your Spunky, Loving Companion! Little Lady has a big personality, and an even bigger heart. She loves to play and be silly, but she loves her humans more than anything. She is sweet, cuddly, and affectionate. She's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, making her an ideal companion for anyone who loves a little fun in their life. https://youtu.be/HEJWXP9cPqQ?feature=shared This sweetheart has great manners and knows not to jump up on people. She will sit patiently at your feet, wagging her tail, waiting for you to give her love and attention. She's crate trained and potty trained, and she knows commands like Sit, Lay Down, Settle, No, Outside, and Night Night. She loves to run around with a squeaky toy, and her favorite treats include apples with peanut butter and sweet potato - the way to her heart is definitely through her stomach! Little Lady is currently ~60 lbs and 1 year old. We think she may be a Staffy/Lab mix, but with rescue its always a guess. We like to call them a Texas Surprise! Little Lady owes her name to her beautiful mom, Lady, whom she resembles. She is sure to steal your heart with her deep brown eyes and big beautiful smile! She has spent her whole life in a loving foster home with her mom and siblings, who have given her a great start in learning doggy manners. She also lives with her foster parents, a special needs granddaughter, and another adult who is in a wheelchair. She does great with people of all ages and abilities, as well as other dogs. Little Lady would do best in a home with a yard where she can frolic and play. She is pretty easy on leash, and with some leash training she could become a total pro. She would be a great dog to take on neighborhood walks, hikes, or to a dog-friendly cafe. She is sweet to everyone she meets, a true social butterfly! Don't miss out on the chance to make Little Lady a part of your family - she's ready to be your new best friend! Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
The term perpetual-puppy was created for this dog specifically. His name is Joey, and although our trained staff estimates his age at 2 years old, nobody told him that. A little Peter Pan situation if you will. Joey is still looking to have the amazing puppy days that story books are wrote about- the warmth in the eyes of your someone, the long naps, the praise for learning something new, and the belly rubs…puppyhood goodness. So Joey figures, if I look life a big ol’ puppy, Ill get all the perks of being a lovable puppy. I fully support Joeys plan! https://youtu.be/-UFhEP0WtMk?feature=shared He is a rescue pup so we cannot guarantee breed or age but he is estimated to be 2 years old, possibly a lab mix, and weighs 55 lbs. He is a perfect size! Giving big-dog love in a compact package. We have all heard the stats on adoption rates for black dogs, but our Joey here is not going to be part of that statistic because even though he is black- he’s got sparkle! I don’t know what it is exactly but he is a charmer! Friendly while also being the cutest touch of shy means he practically melts at your feet. That leads to belly rubs followed by the sweetest kisses with a tongue that I am convinced can’t possibly fit inside his mouth (it does, but I am still skeptical of how.) Joey was introduced to other dogs, a variety of sizes and temperaments, and although he didn’t initially know how to “dog” he opened up and within 10 minutes he was ready to try out running and playing. After that he was a natural! So if you have other dogs, he will fit right in but may take a bit of time for the full-love-fest-friendship to blossom. We all know good things are worth waiting for though! This warm-up isn’t something you will need when it comes to people though, whether he has gone without it for too long or is just now experiencing it, touch and praise are his love language. He is so friendly and patiently waits at the feet of any new friend he meets and those eyes of his say it all “Love me!” Joey is also cat-tolerant! When introduced to our house cat he was a gentleman, he never attempted to chase and he gave respectful space without being fixated on the cat. With proper and slow introductions, he could easily live with a feline friend. If you are forcing me to find a place where Joey has “room for improvement” it would be on leash, but only if you are forcing me. You could take him out on a walk now and feel proud, he just needs some polishing to really shine. Honestly, that polishing is just experience, often rescue dogs have had little to no experience on a leash and it feels weird at first. You have found yourself one absolutely adorable good-boy! He is available for adoption now, ready and waiting to get home to you! If you have any questions about Joey or the adoption process or would like us to test him for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure he is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Lexie..she's been here awhile! Honestly, she's an excellent dog but requires a structured family. She's fearful of strangers, and although we're addressing it, she needs time to warm up to new people. She may bark and growl, but if you disregard her and allow her to approach you on her terms, she integrates you seamlessly into her pack. She may not be the dog for everyone, but she isn't a challenging pet either. She's highly food-motivated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, understands the command to sit, and has a good recall within her fenced yard (as we don't practice off-leash). She behaves well indoors, although she's likely to eat your food if you leave it unattended - a habit that probably won't change. LMAO She adores stuffed toys, enjoys car rides, and is fond of walking and hiking. She's intelligent, yet can be a couch potato on less active days. Belly rubs are her favorite. Her silly and goofy nature, once she's comfortable with you, will keep you laughing constantly. Truthfully, I'm not super experienced with dogs like her. But I've really had no issues if I just let her do her thing with new people. IF I don't want to deal with it because it's a person that is only there for a second I tell her kennel and she runs right in. No problem. We want her in a no kids family or older kids. Active is great whether just walking her taking her on adventures. Someone that is comfortable and experienced with dogs as she wouldn't be a good fit for a first-time dog owner. Would prefer they own a home with a fenced yard as she loves to be outside. Applications are at www.mainstreetmuttrescue.com Adoption fee is $325 and she's spayed, up to date on vaccines and chipped

I love doing Parkour in my kennel, so please do not judge me on that behavior. I love walks, with a harness on, not a leash. My neck is sensitive. I know "sit," "leave it," "up" and "come" to name a few. I enjoy cuddling and enjoying one on one time.
