Story
Hello I'm Daisy! I am around 3 years old. I had a rough start at life but I am looking forward to starting over. I am a shy girl but will warm up rather quickly and would do best in an adult only home. I am learning trust and how to "dog" and I just know there is a family out there looking for a friend. I'm willing to be that friend, I just ask that you can be patient with me and help me build my confidence. I do not like those kitty creatures and kids make me too nervous. I did however have an older calm male doggie bud that I was learning from. I was fostered by a professional trainer and I enjoyed playtime with some of her personal dogs, but she does say that I am dog selective and it will take the right dog and time and patience for me to be comfortable. If you are willing to put in the work, I am more than ready to work along side of you. Interested in adopting? Story
Goofy boy Lucas came to us as a stray with skin issues and overgrown nails. We believe he is around 1 to 2 years old and a Lab mix. He is very happy to be out of his kennel and around people and playing with his toys. He walks well on a leash and knows some basic commands. He still has puppy energy and will do best in a home with a yard to run and play in or an active family. We feel a home with older kids is best as he has a lot of energy and can be mouthy at times. We are unsure of him with cats and we feel super slow and patient introductions is the best way to go. He has played with a dog here at the shelter and did ok but seems he would do better with a calm but playful dog. He recently took a trip to the vet and did great in the car! He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Interested in adopting? LOWER ADOPTION/TRANSPORT FEE $250 Say hello to Shadow, a 1 1/2-year-old male Lab/German Shepherd mix weighing around 55 pounds. He is house trained. Shadow is a very shy boy who has been with us at rescue since he was six months old. We asked a trainer for help with his shyness, and he had improved by leaps and bounds. He is more playful and confident. We're looking for a warm and caring family who will understand when he's timid and provide him with lots of love and reassurance. Shadow will benefit from a fenced-in yard. Though he's gentle natured and wouldn't hurt a fly, small children may startle him; therefore, a home with older children or adults only would be best. Shadow does well with other dogs and cats. His foster says of him, " Shadow K is an extraordinary dog, he just isn't yet sure how to show it. His heart is filled with love!" Story
(This dog is a lower fee- $150 for adoption and $100 for transport.) This handsome Lab mix is named Holden. He's around 1 year old and weighs between 60 and 65 pounds. He wears a short coat of shiny black that's accented with white on his chest, face and paws. And he looks at the world through eyes of milk chocolate. Holden does very well with other dogs, kids, and his foster's cat! In fact, he's simply a nice dog to have around. (posted 12/7/24, TN) Lower Fees: Adoption Fee: $150.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $100.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **February 6, 2025, 12:38 pm
