Story
Sugaree would make an amazing addition to a family looking for a loyal companion! She greets all people with full body tail wags and loves to roll over for belly scratches. She loves to be the center of attention. Sugaree would prefer to be the only dog in the home but does do well with some calmer dogs.

Story
Grover is a black lab born 6/3/24 and is AKC registered. He is a sweet affectionate dog that loves to play with toys and fetch balls. He's an aggressive chewer that needs durable toys but has been good about not chewing on anything but his toys. He needs more training as he can get a little excited inside and doesn't quite realize how big he is. He needs plenty of space to play and loves to run outside. A fenced in yard would be best as he does love to run off leash and fetch. He has been very good around children and is becoming acquainted slowly with the cat. He is trained on basic commands and hears No quite often... He is an inquisitive dog and needs to be supervised or in a crate if left unattended at his young age. I unfortunately had a stroke a few years ago and am am finding it challenging to provide the attention he deserves. I'm also facing an upcoming relocation and having challenges finding housing appropriate for both my medical conditions and a large dog.

Story
Thor is a guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He loves people and craves attention from anyone who is willing to give it to him. He has a confident demeanor and likes to be in charge, often acting as a leader among the other dogs at the rescue. Thor's energy and strength can sometimes be too much for his own good. With proper care and exercise, he can shed those extra pounds and become a healthier, happier pup. Despite his flaws, Thor is a lovable and loyal companion who just needs a little extra help to reach his full potential.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
I have videos!!! Surrendered by a family whose son turned out to be allergic to pets, Isla (pronounced “eye-la”) uses her sandy-white coat and black-framed, sea-green eyes to show you why she is named for the Spanish word for “island.” Her mom was a German Shepherd/Lab mix; dad was a traveling man. Lack of socialization left Isla wary of strangers, and she’s a little worried and antsy at first; but she comes around with a few minutes’ patience and time and is ready to play fetch and accept treats. Highly food motivated, she walks happily on a leashed “sniff and stroll” through the woods, responds promptly to “sit”, and is doing well learning other commands. At 19 months old and weighing 49 pounds, she is already house-trained (she lived happily with a family of dad, mom, two teenage boys and a toddler), crate-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccines and monthly parasite preventatives. Her easy-care coat and playful attitude with other dogs add to her list of assets. She would love to have another family of her own! https://youtu.be/6pmyBBgp2fY FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla learns the "release" commandhttps://youtu.be/Z1BDW5nXN_U / FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla learns not to play with slip lead!https://youtu.be/c9mb7HEdpM4 FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla plays ball by herself!https://youtu.be/hEaDsFgvnok FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla goes on a Stroll&Sniffhttps://youtu.be/yqmXoKIPhxM FOCCAS adoptable dog checks out a big turkeyhttps://youtu.be/3Mw0_JK3RTY FOCCAS adoptable dog Isla plays fetch and practices "Leave it"FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Naomi is nearly 5 months old & weighs only 30 lbs. She is a most wonderful puppy! We believe, based on her coat and size that she is likely a Flat Coated Retriever, perhaps a mix. She doesn’t have a single spot of white on her! She is an active puppy and, of course, needs training. However, she listens very well and is always eager to please. Naomi was one of 3 dogs removed from a cruelty situation but, thankfully, she was in much better shape than the other two dogs that were removed. She was thin and just needed a de-wormer and some groceries! She’s a very happy, healthy puppy and she absolutely loves other dogs. She has not been around children, but ALL indications are she would be equally as wonderful with children as she is with every other living thing. Naomi would be the best addition to any family or individual who has the willingness to raise this smart pup to be the best dog they’ve ever had! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is BeBe! Please read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. BeBe is a great example of an amazingly wonderful dog with some special needs who needs a hero to be her forever person.  BeBe is a very sweet, shy, stunningly beautiful girl with lots of love to give!  She does great in her foster home, but when she was adopted several years ago, she got loose from her new owner after just a couple of days, and she was 'on the run' for a week before she could be trapped (and returned to AAMR).  She tries so hard to make everyone happy, and she loves having a routine so she feels safe.  BeBe loves people and finding the right people, ones who understand her potential to be a 'flight risk' and who will give a little 'extra' to make her feel safe and secure, is our mission.  Her new home MUST have a physical fence to contain her.  She always uses nice house manners and is definitely an 'inside girl'. The gorgeous pup with the soulful eyes is a smart and snuggly girl!  She loves attention and lots of 'good girls' and once she bonds with you, she will be the most loyal friend you will ever have.  Could she be a snuggly addition to your family? Approximate age/birthdate:  ~ December 2013 Weight/size:  ~ 55-60 lb   Housebroken:  YES as long as you do your part and take her out regularly  Crate trained:  YES … she finds her crate to be a safe placePersonality: a bit shy until she knows you, happy, sweet, loving Energy level:  Medium … she’s a sweet girl, and doesn't know what 'senior' means  Fenced yard required?:   YES - no exceptions - a physical fence (no underground or wireless) … she absolutely needs a place to explore and play safely off-leash.  She is timid and a definite flight risk. It is also necessary to keep the neighbor's cats and the community squirrels safe! Does he/she jump fences?  NO (but probably could if she got spooked) Leash walk:  YES Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’ Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK but does get a little nervous at first   Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:   YES Social with other dogs:  YES – at least with her foster siblings.  She (as with any dog) should be properly introduced to any new dogs before being allowed to run free with them  Social with cats:  NO CATS … she barks at them and we are sure she would chase them Good with children: She seems to be OK with older children as long as they are calm and gentle with her.  Again ... proper introduction is the key. Adoption donation:  $175 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if BeBe picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Please feel free to email weluvpups@hotmail.com if you have additional questions.
