Her first days were spent tucked close to her family near a quiet country home, where kind people made sure her mother had food and shelter to safely raise her babies. It was a simple beginning, but one filled with care, warmth, and love.   Now at just 11 weeks old, Sugar Drop is safe with Critter Cavalry and waiting for the family who will help shape her future. She already shows how deeply she connects with people, especially children, offering gentle play, sweet kisses, and a calm presence beyond her young age. She rides beautifully in the car and settles easily into arms when it’s time to rest. Sugar Drop is a snuggle girl at heart, tender and trusting, with a quiet hope in her eyes that asks only for kindness, guidance, and patience. She will grow into a lovely 70-pound girl with a pale yellow coat, white socks, and a freckled face that makes her impossible to forget. With gentle training, consistency, and love, she will blossom into a smart, devoted family companion. Meet Diamond-- a sweetie pie! She’s an energetic senior German Short-haired Pointer Mix. Although she has lots of energy, she’s also the biggest cuddle bug. Moreover, she loves to talk; thus, she barks quite a bit. As an affectionate companion, she should be the only fur-baby of her paw-rent (s). Given her lively nature, Diamond is quite strong and pulls on the leash so a sizable backyard to run around and go potty is needed. Overall, her ideal home is with adults and children (13 years old and up) who love snuggling on the couch and occasionally being outside. Diamond is crate- and house-trained and knows basic commands (i.e. sit, lay, “crate up”). She is up to date on all of her shots, and she doesn’t have any special needs or known medical conditions. We’re moving and unfortunately can’t take her with us. When adopted, Diamond will come with a crate– fit for a large dog, water and food bowls, vet records, 3 months of heartworm medicine, and a 20lb bag of dog food.

Her original family adored her and provided her with a safe, caring home, but unexpected personal challenges arose—difficult ones that prevented them from giving her the consistency, time, and attention she truly deserved. They made the painful, selfless decision to ask for help in finding her a new family, wanting Margo to live her best possible life. And what a gift this girl will be to her new home. Margo is sweetness personified. She is friendly with every dog she meets, respectful and calm around cats, and gentle enough to be trusted with young children. She needs to be in a home of no small dogs - she thinks they are playthings. Her temperament is exactly what people love about Golden Retrievers—steady, affectionate, intuitive, and endlessly kind. She greets new people with a soft smile and happy tail as if welcoming them into her world. Margo is still young and doesn’t have many commands under her belt, but she is a blank slate in the best possible way. She watches her people carefully, eager to understand what’s expected of her, and she responds beautifully to gentle guidance. With patience and routine, she will blossom into a perfectly mannered companion. A fenced yard would be ideal for her—she loves the freedom to run, sniff, and stretch those young, energetic legs. She hasn’t had nearly enough opportunities for outdoor play or structured exercise, so a family who values activity and time outside will help her thrive. After playtime, she’ll settle in beside you with that soft Golden warmth that makes every house feel more like home.
