Story
Hi, I'm Diva! Diva & Ella (D&E)--are sisters and being fostered in Round Hill, VA, but can be transported to an approved adopter. They are both so smart, affectionate and love being told what good girls they are. Diva is more outgoing and Ella is less so. They are so affectionate and loyal and would like to shower you with the same. Fun Facts: 2.7 years old House & crate trained 35-40 lbs each (they look bigger in pictures) UTD on all vax & preventatives No small animals or cats* Good with children 10 yrs and older Diva does well with car rides. Ella gets car sick on long rides. They should have a fenced yard because they love to run and play with each other, as well as other dogs. They are good leash walkers; however, they do react to seeing squirrels and get very excited when they see other dogs on leashes or behind a fence. While they appear to have some shepherd in them, a DNA test was submitted and we will update soon! *In their previous foster home, there was a cat & chickens, which they did not bother. If you have a cat that is accustomed to being around dogs & could stand their own ground, they will probably do alright. We hope to keep them together and they hope to meet you very soon!

Story
Hi my name is Curly and I have a great story to tell. I am a good boy that’s shy and unsure at first. People, car rides, and loud noises scare me. So I need a home that is quiet and 1-2 people at most would be best. I do great with other dogs, they bring me out of my shell. I know I’m not for everyone but I am the right one for the special person, who can work with me and go at my slow pace, who won’t get frustrated that the world is sometimes scary to me and I need time and help figuring it out. I really want to be loved and give you love, it will just take time, trust, and understanding. I am kennel trained, house trained, and like the backyard. Leash walks are not my favorite but I am working on that. Since I am scared, I like to be able to go in and out of my kennel when I am scared or just feel like it. If you want a special dog that’s not like everyone else, but will always hold a special place in your heart…. I am your boy! I have been around dogs and cats with no issues. I've also been around kids, but I prefer to keep to myself when little ones are around. I'm also crate and housetrained, neutered, heartworm negative, and have age-appropriate vaccinations!  If you're interested in adopting, please email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.comAugust 20, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
Hi, my name is Moe! If you are looking for a special dog, you are barking up the right tree! What makes me special is that life started out a little shaky for me and has left me more nervous and scared than the average dog. With time, understanding, patience, and building trust I will open up and be the best companion you could want! As the saying goes, I stick to the 3’s. I need 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks of a consistent routine and time to learn it & 3 months to start feeling at home. At first, I am more comfortable with other dogs and people really scare me, so I would do best with an outgoing friendly dog in the house to show me how to feel comfortable and confident. As time goes on, I get more used to humans but would do best in a single-person home or just a couple (too many people or a lot of children will be too much for me). I like my kennel and my safe dark space. I will come around and hang out more when I trust it is safe. I am kennel trained and working on being better with the leash. If you are looking for an amazing but special dog who needs a little bit of a calmer lifestyle, I am your man!!!! Email your phone number to rockcityrescue@gmail.com for more info! Story
Fun Facts About Me: Loyal Companion: I’m exceptionally loyal and observant. Once you’re in my circle, I’ll go to the ends of the earth for you. Cuddle Enthusiast: Cuddles are my love language! I have a unique talent for awkwardly jumping into laps and gazing deeply into your eyes, so get ready for some serious snuggle sessions! Dog Lover: I live with three other big pups, and we have a blast exploring the backyard and barking at the neighborhood hooligans. I do need a gentle introduction to new dogs, though. Kids make me a bit nervous, but I’m very intrigued by cats—just want to give them a good sniff! Genetic Diversity: I’m a proud world-wide mutt! My DNA shows I have roots from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America, making me one-of-a-kind! Healthy & Active: I’m spayed, up-to-date on all my immunizations, and ready for action! I can run FAST, thanks to my athletic genes—one of my ancestors was bred to hunt antelopes! Let’s hit the trails together! Mood Indicator: You can read my feelings by watching my little tail! When I’m happy, it perks up; when I’m excited, it wiggles around like a joystick; and when I’m nervous, it curls downward. Apply today and I can be a part of your family. My fee is sponsored. Story
https://foha.org/pet/lynk2020/ Let me introduce myself! I'm Lynk! Could I be the missing Lynk in your life? I love going for walks and cuddling. I also love staying busy with a good chew toy! I can be wary of strangers, so I'd prefer to be in a quiet home. I'd also love a yard with space to accommodate my energetic self, or an active family. But once I get some zoomies in, I'd love to snuggle up on the couch! I do get attached to my people and can be protective in the home, so I would do best in a home with no small children or a lot of visitors. I have a lot of love to give, and would love to be the only one receiving the love you have to give! Submit an application so we can meet and learn more about each other!
