Story
Having to give away my previous animal which was very hard for me to do I kind of got lonely and wanted best friend animal. So a military family who was getting ready to relocate to Germany posted a ad in the Virginian-Pilot about free dog getting ready to move overseas not able to take dog so free dog best friend lonely met Bella and I instantly fell in love but now with my work schedule being chaotic and my wife just had a new baby we have to keep Bella in a crate so that way we don't have any accidents or hiccups with the baby or my wife. The one thing I will say about Bella is that she's very protective as the alpha female she protects her territory and protects what is hers when she's outside she loves to run she just loved being outside. But like I said with me and my wife working she has to stay in a cage and it's not fair to her to be in xxxx@xxxx.x I'm looking for someone who is willing to spend time with Bella take her own Adventures on walks let her know that she is loved

Story
This is Captain! A lab/pit mix. He was recently rescued from living in a crate full time and brought into our home to help him socialize with other dogs and become house trained outside the crate. He is in need of someone who can give him the attention he deserves. We would love to keep him but about 2 weeks after bringing him home we found out we were pregnant. He’s ok around children, but we are not sure how he will do with an infant. He does not know how big he is, but he is kind.

Story
He is a great dog. Super loving towards humans. I have another pup from the same litter who adopted at 12 weeks. I agreed to take this pup about a month ago because he was in an unsafe situation. I’ve found it is WAY too much for me to care for 2 six month old puppies. He requires too much attention. He deserves a home where he is cherished and someone can spend the time helping him unlearn the less than desirable behaviors he learned from his previous owners. Unfortunately his presence is causing stress for the entire household including my other pup. He needs a new home immediately. He has not been around children or cats so it is unknown how he will react. Fully vaccinated. He’s too young to be neutered at this time and within the 30 day requirement this site gives. Adoption fee is $30 and covers only the listing fee this service charges.

Story
Thriller is a sweet and cuddly boy with the energy of a pup even though he is 9 years old. He loves to laze about and cuddle almost as much as he enjoys going on long walks and adventures. He is well behaved but gets super excited over walks and meal times so he needs someone who can handle his high energy. Other than that he's a really chill dude who enjoys sunbathing or sitting outside. He is good with all people, though he hasn't been around babies he is good with children. He doesn't particularly like cats but gets along fine with other dogs--although they often seem to like to bully him. He would be fine as a solo pet or other dogs. We have a cat too who he will sometimes bark at, but he mostly likes to avoid him. Thriller's safe space is his crate. His favorite games are fetch and tug but as he has gotten older he has become less interested in tug. Sometimes he's really playful and sometimes he just wants to lay down and snuggle you. He's very affectionate.

Story
Our wonderful dog Chessie came to us 7 years ago when she was around one and a half years old. We found her online and the previous owner did not know how old she was. They had a more aggressive dog so they chose to give Chessie away. She has been with us as we started a family but as our family has grown we are moving. The house we are moving to does not allow dogs so with a sadden heart we have to give her up. She is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is still playful and loves to run around outside.
