Story
ECHO IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED.   This is Echo. As you can see, Echo is gigantic, but gentle. Echo and two siblings were found on a dark country road in February of 2023. She was badly abused, and is extremely shy. Echo has received lots of love and attention, but is still a very scared girl, who will need lots of love and gentle care. New situations and people can be terrifying for Echo, and her fear sometimes expresses itself through aggression. We are working with her to overcome this, but she will need training and love. If you can break through that shell, you will find a gigantic, thoughtful, couch potato. If you give Echo a chew bone and a comfy seat, she will be one of the happiest creatures you have ever met. She is extremely intelligent, emotive, and personable. If you annoy Echo, she will remember it, and steal your seat in revenge. The only way to get her to leave is by giving her a belly rub. Echo will shadow your every move. If you are going somewhere, she wants to come with you. She is at her happiest when she has a nice chewbone and the seat next to you. She is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Echo up north to her new family. REX IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED. This is Rex. He might be part giant, but if so, he is one of the gentle ones. He is sweet, funny, and gentle. His favorite thing in the entire world is playing fetch and catching balls. If he misses a catch, he will happily retrieve the ball or toy so you can try again. He also likes to give kisses—gentle taps with his nose to your nose. Rex is energetic, but well mannered. He is house trained and will sit on command. He is people focused—if you are up wandering around, you will have a large dark shadow following your every step. He is also cat-friendly. Rex is intelligent, but easily pleased. Give him a toy and a hug, and his day has been made. Once you get him feeling comfortable, he is a big, goofy, sweetheart. Rex is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Darla is a sweet fun loving girl. She has typical shepherd markings on a sturdy lab body. She is shy and a bit timid at first, especially with men, but after about 3 days, her charming, fun personality emerges. She's the perfect mix of chill and playful. Her German Shepherd line means she's going to bond with you and her family. She is especially fond of women and would do fantastic with a single woman who wants a dog that will alert to dangers. She'll be right there wherever you go in the house. Darla knows some basic commands like sit, shake, sit up, and is pretty good about staying. She loves to play with dogs similar to her size and loves playing outside.. okay she just loves to play. She loves squeaky toys, though they won't last long! She also needs tough chew toys. Darla is curious about cats, but seems to be able to coexist with them. Darla is house-trained, rides well in a car, and will sleep in a crate all night, if the crate is in your bedroom. She would prefer to sleep on a dog bed, in your room, and not make a peep. Darla is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and waiting for her forever home.

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. If you're looking for a snuggle buddy, Oakley is your girl! At just 11 months old and 30 pounds of pure sweetness, this short legged Lab / Staffordshire Terrier mix has medium energy but a heart full of love. Her favorite thing? Belly rubs! Oakley will gladly lay in your lap, on her back, for hours of rubs and attention. Oakley has some adorable quirks, too! She’ll sit on her behind with her paws in the air when she wants your attention, and after she finishes eating, she brings you her bowl as if to say, "More, please!" She’s well on her way to being house-trained and is totally crate-trained, where she behaves like a champ. Oakley knows how to sit and has a great recall, making training a breeze. She’s a submissive, gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. This cuddle queen would thrive in a home where she can be close to her humans, soaking up all the love and attention.
