Story
This is Captain! A lab/pit mix. He was recently rescued from living in a crate full time and brought into our home to help him socialize with other dogs and become house trained outside the crate. He is in need of someone who can give him the attention he deserves. We would love to keep him but about 2 weeks after bringing him home we found out we were pregnant. He’s ok around children, but we are not sure how he will do with an infant. He does not know how big he is, but he is kind.

Story
Please consider meeting Iroh. I adopted his brother at 12 weeks and took in this good boy about a month ago. He needed a re-home at that time because his previous owner's senior dog was territorial. I've found caring for 2, six-month-old pups is outside of my expertise level. He's done nothing wrong and deserves to be in a home where he is loved beyond measure. He's very loving. Loves to snuggle at your feet or in your arms. He’s VERY smart. He loves to eat plants in the garden. He’s food motivated. He’s independent, but prefers you keep him company. He’s crate, sit, stay, place, leave it, and potty trained. He sleeps through the night. He doesn’t pull while in a slip lead but loves to lead the way in a harness. He has not been around cats or children. Will need loving correction if being introduced into a home with other dogs only because of a lack of manners. He comes with his crate, harness and leash. I can provide a few days of dog food if you needed.

Story
Having to give away my previous animal which was very hard for me to do I kind of got lonely and wanted best friend animal. So a military family who was getting ready to relocate to Germany posted a ad in the Virginian-Pilot about free dog getting ready to move overseas not able to take dog so free dog best friend lonely met Bella and I instantly fell in love but now with my work schedule being chaotic and my wife just had a new baby we have to keep Bella in a crate so that way we don't have any accidents or hiccups with the baby or my wife. The one thing I will say about Bella is that she's very protective as the alpha female she protects her territory and protects what is hers when she's outside she loves to run she just loved being outside. But like I said with me and my wife working she has to stay in a cage and it's not fair to her to be in xxxx@xxxx.x I'm looking for someone who is willing to spend time with Bella take her own Adventures on walks let her know that she is loved

Story
This big handsome boy is Fraklin or Franklin he does not care what you call him! Fraklin was originally adopted from the NSPCA as a puppy and was recently returned when his owners could no longer care for him. Fraklin is a BIG puppy and he would benefit from a dog savvy home as he has lots of puppy energy and could use a bit of training. Fraklin loves anything he can play with such as tennis balls, rope toys, hard chew toys, literally anything he is not picky. Fraklin loves to be loved on, he craves attention and pets and would love a family of his own he can cuddle and love on back. If you are interested in this sweet handsome boy ask a member of the staff for more information today!

Story
Nina is a little girl who was born around Mid-May and the family who had their dog give birth, moved away from their country rental and left 10 puppies behind with no plan for food or water…..just an outdoor pen.  After several months of a neighbor feeding them, Critter Cavalry Rescue was called in to help take them from the pen and give them a chance to find homes.  This girl survived months of abandonment and starvation and has emerged with a few social hesitancies and insecurities, yet a smart mind and loving soul.  She is crate trained, housebroken, wonderful with children that are young, other dogs and also cats.  She is a champ when it comes to being there for you but socially skittish when there are loud noises, sudden movements from outside and thunderstorms.  Nina is coming in to a place that she is showing confidence and not scared of certain things.  She will get there soon, but will need someone that doesn’t require her to be perfect.  She truly is perfect in so many ways despite her really challenging early months as a litter that was abandoned.  Nine is a lab/Pit mix that is beautiful and 44 pounds and a full weight as an adult.   She is very sweet and loving and good with children,  dogs, but NO CATS…..she loves to chase.    She is housebroken and she is crate trained and is a true outdoor girl. She loves to sunbath on the back patio and she welcomes the opportunity to meet new people.  She is pretty good on a leash and good on car rides and great recall that usually works for her.  She is a companion puppy.  She is a Lab/Pit mix and has the heart and soul of a Golden Retriever.   If you are interested in giving this homeless girl a new life and family, please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
Our girl Thelma was found with her sister Louise wondering on a backcountry highway with certain death looming if they were not picked up and taken out of the roadway. They were confused and they were hungry and they were thirsty. Their life started all over again the day this kind woman put them in her truck and carry them to a critter cavalry foster mom. From there Miss Thelma has certainly been in great hands and shown the ropes and growing up as a young girl. She is living in a very busy household with lots of people coming and going and older children loving on her everyday. There are multiple dogs in the family and she gets along with the small ones as well as the larger ones. Thelma is housebroken, crate trained and does need a secured fence yard to play in. She loves a great outdoors and she would make a great running partner hiking companion and TV movie or football time snuggler on the sofa. She's a great and terrific little girl.  We think she's going to be someone superstar family pet if you just invite her home. Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Critter Cavalry Rescue has her ready to go!!!   Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 11:48 pm
