Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jake is a 4 1/2 year old Lab/Husky/Shepherd mix, he weighs about 60 pounds.   Jake loves walking and is very good at it. Just say "let's walk!" and he stays at your side, although he might need a reminder now and then. He has been through  basic obedience class and should remember the commands: sit, down, off ,stay, come (if he feels like it) and let's walk instead of heel.  He is energetic, but as long as he gets a good walk daily (maybe 2) and a play session later of tug, frisbee or ball, he's happy to Netflix and chill in the evening.  Jake loves to eat so he may help himself to things on the counter - that will need some work. If he gets bored, he might get mischievous like grabbing a pillow for attention. Jake has plenty of love in him, so he doesn't want to share you with another dog. He also needs a fenced yard, preferably a wood one 6 or 8 feet tall. He loves car rides and hanging with his "hoomans" - he might even sing for you! If you want to meet Jake please fill out an application from our website. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2024, 8:08 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Duckie! (Duck) Duckie is a 2.5-year-old Chocolate Lab/Husky mix with an energetic personality and a heart full of love. This beautiful girl is crate trained, housebroken (though she can have a small accident if she gets too excited), and spayed. She weighs around 60-70 lbs and is ready to find a forever home where she can thrive. What makes Duck special? Duck is a friendly, active dog who loves to play, especially fetch! She’s good with other dogs and even cats—though she needs a slow introduction to her feline friends and can sometimes bark or chase them outside (but never harms them). She does well around kids, though her size and excitement might make her less ideal for homes with babies or toddlers. Duck does best in a home with a fenced-in yard, where she can run and play safely. She loves being around people, but may whine when there’s a lot going on around her if she's in her crate. She’s also a great protector, doing a wonderful job of alerting to strangers but quickly warming up once introduced. Who would be the perfect match for Duck? An active home where she can get plenty of exercise and playtime would be ideal! Duck would love a family who enjoys outdoor activities and can give her the attention and companionship she craves. If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and protective dog, Duck could be the perfect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 14, 2024, 8:08 pm
