Meet Ivy! This gorgeous girl is around 1-2 years old. We are unsure what she is mixed with, but we are guessing she has some husky in her due to her antics. She is such a sweet girl and SUPER energetic. She would love a family that goes to the lake, river or has a pool, she is a MAJOR water dog. She is looking for a super active family that can take her on long walks and plenty of adventures. She has done well with dogs she has met here but meet and greets are required. She would do well with children as long as she does get her energy out just due to the jumping around as she can be a wrecking ball at times. If interested in Ivy, the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm pending on if staff is in the building. You can also call the shelter at 804-520-9397 ext. 5 to set up an appointment!

He loves affection and will lay his big, handsome head in your lap for a good snuggle sesh on the couch. This sweet boy is happy going for walks, playing in the yard, relaxing at home, pulling every single toy out at one time, and taking naps on his back. Bufred is house trained, is getting very good at “come” and improving with “sit,” walks well with minimal pulling, and is an excellent car rider. At 5-6 years of age, Bufred is just the sweetest boy who loves human attention but can take some time warming up to some men. He is less comfortable around pushy, high energy dogs. Hiya friends, my name is Gus. I am a playful one year old dog’s dog and I really love to play with other four legged friends! Playing chase and wrestling with my K-9 buddies is the highlight of my day. I can be a little nervous in new situations and need just a little time to warm up. I will try my very best if you give me lots of encouragement. I am more confident when I’m with my buddies. A quick “you got this, Gus!” is the key to my heart.
