Story
Hello there! My name is Poptart and I'm a sweet little girl looking for a family. My story is a sad one. A nice lady saw a man driving me and my siblings around in the back of his pick-up truck...and then, he dumped us all in the wilderness to fend for ourselves! My siblings and I were terrified. The woods were dark and scary. Luckily, the nice lady who saw us get dumped called Beagle Freedom Project right away. Staff at Freedom Fields rushed to find me, and after lots of time and patience, they rescued me and my family! When we first arrived to Freedom Fields, I was shaking in fear. After some loving and lots of treats, my tail has started wagging. I love being pet, and I love other dogs. I'm still pretty scared and getting used to being loved. Freedom Fields staff doesn't think anyone has ever pet or cuddled me before. I can't believe how much I've been missing! I'm looking for a patient family full of love to show me that not all humans will abandon me. Will you take me home? My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!* If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an adoption application at https://bfp.org/adopt/ Please email the Beagle Freedom Project Team with questions at: adopt@bfp.org. Woof woof! My name is Meadow, and I just arrived to Freedom Fields! I'm still pretty shaken up...a nice lady saw a man driving me and my siblings around in the back of his pick-up truck...and then, he dumped us all in the woods to fend for ourselves! My siblings and I were so scared. There was nothing for us to eat, and there were big animals all around us. We had to eat trash to survive! Luckily, the kind woman who witnessed this called BFP for help. Staff at Freedom Fields rushed to find me, and they rescued us! I'm still learning to trust and adjust to all the love coming my way-something I've never really experienced before. The staff believes no one ever cuddled or cared for me in the past, and now I realize just how much I've been missing out on! I get so excited whenever someone approaches me and wants to pet me. I just can't get enough attention. I'm looking for a patient, loving family to show me that not all humans will let me down. Could you be the one to take me home? My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Hi! My name is Memphis and I'm sniffing around for my forever family! I've had a difficult past...the man who was supposed to be taking care of me and my siblings dumped us all alone in the woods to fend for ourselves. We were terrified and had no idea how we were going to survive. Luckily, a nice lady called BFP, who then came to save us. I'm safe now, and I'm starting to learn that humans are my friends. These nice people bring me treats and gentle touches instead of starving me and abandoning me. They tell me that soon, someone will fall in love with me and take me home to join their family. That would make me SO happy! If you are gentle and patient, please consider adopting me. All I need is a kind touch and lots of love. My location: NOWATA, OK *Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. Story
Being surrendered by a breeder at age 9, my best years are yet to come! Hello there, I’m Rosa, said to be an English Lab weighing approx. 45# and ready for the next chapter in my life! Did you know there are many benefits in adopting a senior dog? We seniors are more forgiving, happy with the little things, bond closely with our humans and cherish “the moments” with few expectations other than giving/taking love and sharing time with our person. I’m also a friendly girl with people once comfortable, but can be “snarky” with initial introductions.  Once comfortable, I do have a “Hysterical Smile” that displays my true personality. Still young at heart with spring in my step, some exercise is needed. Already house and crate trained, I do walk well on a leash and would love a companion to share nature and take in the local sights. For my protection, a 4 foot fence would be needed. A buddy dog in the home is just fine as I do romp and play with other dogs here at Molly’s Place, but a proper introduction is needed.   I’m a true girl, “What You See is What You Get” kind of situation. No surprises here and none of that “puppy stuff”. I live for the moment, have plenty of unconditional love to give and want nothing more than a person to call my own! I’m Rosa, a girl with a Hysterical Grin and a Heart of Gold just waiting for my future to unfold. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org.
