Story
Meet Zane, a 3-month-old, 7-lb Lab mix with the squishiest little body and the cuddliest personality imaginable. Zane was rescued after being dumped at a construction site in Puerto Rico with his siblings, far too young to survive on their own. Thankfully, a worker heard the puppies crying and helped get them to safety — and now Zane is getting the chance at the happy life he always deserved. Zane may be a little cautious for about five seconds… but then he’s climbing right into your lap for cuddles. He’s a chunky little lovebug who absolutely adores affection and wants to be close to his people at all times. He has a playful, goofy personality, loves tagging along on adventures, and is happiest snuggled up on the couch after a day of fun. He is currently in Boston and available for adoption across the East coast. Zane is ready for a forever home where he can keep growing in confidence, soaking up love, and living the spoiled puppy life he was always meant for.

Story
Millie is a beautiful one-year, four-month-old chocolate lab with a rich, dark coat thanks to her strong black lab bloodline. She’s as stunning as she is sweet!  She is 16 months old and a 55 pound girl who is full of life—playful, highly energetic, and always ready for her next adventure. She would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can run, explore, and burn off her energy. Whether it’s chasing a ball or just zooming around, she loves having space to be her happy, active self. After playtime, Millie turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. She is a big snuggler who loves being close to her people and soaking up all the affection she can get. She does great with other animals and children, making her a wonderful addition to a loving family. Her favorite things include running with the zoomies, her ball, bones and snacks. Millie is looking for a home that can match her energy, give her room to play, and plenty of love and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who will keep you active and then curl up beside you at the end of the day, Millie might be your perfect match! Story
Hank ('Hank the Tank')The Lovable Powerhouse with a Heart of Mush is a very young one year old English Lab who weighs 78 pounds and was bought from a breeder as a puppy by his current family.  Due to their layers of family sports and working responsibilities for the mom and dad, they have realized that Hank needs more from a family than they can give.  Critter Cavalry Rescue has offered to neuter Hank and bring him up to date on all vaccines and heartworm test and then find him the best home with lots of hearts and hands to love him and give him more of their time and attention. Hank is not only a very handsome Yellow English Lab, but a strong one with a stocky build that requires a capable handler when walking him on a leash.  He has impeccable manners with crate training and housebreaking fully mastered.  He has exceptional family and house manners with no heavy anxieties. His inviting personality is warm and he is quick to make friends. :Don’t let the nickname 'Hank the Tank' fool you—this big boy is all about the love. True to his English roots, Hank has that classic personality that is high-energy but incredibly sweet. He loves to run and stretch his legs and as most people know, a Lab is just a kid at heart for the first 5 years. . Hank is a cuddler who doesn’t quite realize he’s 78bo pounds of solid muscle, making his clumsy attempts to get close to you all the more charming. Hank is a gentleman through and through. He is highly disciplined at mealtime, sitting and waiting for his food until he hears the verbal 'Eat' command. He is a steady, loyal companion who is eager to please. He is currently going through his toddler phase and sometimes does not like to listen when his name is called the first time. Typical for a teenage boy dog like him. Hank is looking for a family that doesn't mind a 'big lap dog.' and someone to reinforcing and some consistent training.  We also need a fenced yard or a lot of land that he can zoom around on away from a busy road.  He is currently powered byPurina Pro Plan Large Breed Puppy. He eats 4 cups daily, split between morning and mid afternoon.  He is heartworm negative and neutered now.  Ready for the next best step to the right home.  If you think you could qualify for this big boy then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  Tell us where you live, city and state when  inquiring.  We adopt to the Tennessee area where our rescue is based and we also transport up the northeastern coastal states and have transports every weekend   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 13, 2026, 10:46 am

Story
My name is Brock and I am a very lucky 4 month old puppy to be rescued by a kind young couple who found me and my 3 siblings running by a rural Tennessee backroad highway on April 28th.  We were starving and dirty and confused about this abandoned situation that we were in.  We were scared at first but soon we realized that this man and woman meant no harm to us. Only good.  As you can see from my pictures, I am a pretty handsome boy with a lot of sweetness in my soul.  I am learning how to walk on a leash and how to be mannerly in the house with lots of patience from my rescuers.  Critter Cavalry Rescue has stepped up to vet us, spay and neuter us and to search high and low for great homes.   I know that they find great families to raise the puppies they offer.  I am a very obedient and eager to please boy.  I have lots of good puppy energy and not frantic but a medium and natural energy that you expect from a puppy my age.  I am 24 pounds right now with a projected 50 pound adult weight when I am fully grown.  I love to sit on your lap and have you tell me how good of a puppy that I am and how much you love me.  I thrive on attention and soak it up like a dry sponge.  My black and white coat is shiny and getting more healthy everyday with the good food and vet care that is being given to me.  I am neutered as of 5/7 and I am getting all my shots done and microchipped too.  What I want most in this life is a good family that I can make laugh and feel happy that I am their special dog.  I would love a fenced yard or a family that will take me for long walks, dog parks or even jogs every now and again.  I would love children to play with and maybe even have them read to me.  I know I am lucky and blessed to have been picked up from harm's way and to have such a great opportunity to find a family that will never throw me away like I was as a young puppy.  Life is good and my future is bright.  Are you the someone special who can give me love and let me make you never regret that I am your forever companion in life?  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue and ask for an adoption application at ccrtennessee@gmail.com      PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 13, 2026, 10:46 am

Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 13, 2026, 10:46 am
