Hello future adopters, This is Cersei, a one year old lab mix looking for her forever home. A friend of mine found her mom as a pregnant stray (who is definitely a boxer) and Cersei is from that litter so we are not 100% sure what he breed is. We have had her for a year and she is needing to find a new home because she keeps escaping our small yard and its causing problems with our neighbors. She needs a home with a big yard or a few acres where she can roam and run as much as she wants. We also have a very busy schedule and would love for her to go to a new home where she will get more attention. She loves belly rubs, bones, treats, and to just chill on the couch cuddled up with you. She is good with kids and has never shown any aggression to other dogs, she is just very shy at first. I am not sure how she would do with other animals as she hasn’t been exposed. She is crate trained, house trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines and knows a few commands.

We adopted Annie from unleashed pet rescue in Mission, KS when she was 8 weeks old in February of 2020. Annie has been such a good dog- extremely cuddly, eager to please, and playful. She is an anxious girl but is not destructive at all. She is fine being left at home while family is at work/school- she free roamed in our home but can tolerate crates. She would do well with a slow introduction to other dogs but we believe she would be a great companion for any dogs you might have in the house, as she has been boarded in-home with several other dogs and did great. She LOVES water and has swam next to us as we kayaked in the lake. She loves anything outside, but also loves a good, quiet snuggle- her little snores are so cute! Annie was recently diagnosed with Addisons disease- it is life long, but with her daily medication (just a small pill offered in a spoonful of peanut butter and a monthly injection from the vet), she is able to live a full life without complications.
