Sasha how are you holding up? You are lonely and worried aren't you girl...the people you trusted to keep you safe all seem to drop you. Time and time again she is handed off like a baton only never making it to the finish line. Sasha is a big girl, she is strong, she is also timid even shy and needs to build her confidence. Sasha was living with a family that really didn't care for teaching her, training her, they just brought her up like a weed and when she was no longer convenient, they dropped her at a kill shelter. She struggled in the overcrowded environment, and the shelter let the previous owner know they will be putting her down, through some miracle she was given to another owner. This person got lost on their path and during her stay with this individual she was nervous, mishandled and sometimes mistreated. Sasha is like all of us, trying to phone home. Where exactly is that place. Sasha walks nicely on a leash and despite her confusing start to life-she loves taking direction from people. Sasha has a protective streak and will bond to her main person or people. She will honor you and will enjoy the guidance for many years to come. Sasha seems interested in people even kids but still needs to build her social skills. She was polite around a child and didn't try to get over to the child in any of setting manner. Sasha is like many dogs that end up in the rescue system undertrained, under loved, misguided and in need of structure and care. This girl needs some real TLC and a real shot at a true family. We are still learning how Sasha gets along with animals but will know real soon after we assess. This handsome, charismatic Pit Bull/Lab mix is as smart as he is good-looking, and he is absolutely ready to find the family he deserves. Truman comes with an impressive résumé for a boy his age. He already knows sit, stay, crate, and is actively working on leave it. He is fully potty and crate trained, and he will even bark or ring a bell to let you know when he needs to go out — or when he is ready for a snack or a water refill. Communication is one of his strengths, and he takes it very seriously. When it comes to energy, Truman has found his perfect balance. He is an active, playful guy who loves walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and exploring the great outdoors — fair warning, he may pull if a squirrel or rabbit crosses his path, because some things are simply irresistible. Name: Yoseph Age: DOB 09-15-2025 Weight: Expected medium to large size Breed: Labrador Retriever / Border Collie Mix (best guess) Energy Level: Moderate (more calm and observant than typical puppy energy) Special Traits: Sensitive, gentle, reserved, dog-friendly Ideal Home: Patient, structured home willing to allow full decompression and give him the time he needs to build trust and thrive This sweet boy is one of those puppies who will quietly steal your heart… you just have to be willing to slow down long enough to see him. He came to us as part of an accidental litter from a young couple who had not spayed their dog. When we brought the puppies in, they were in very rough condition and needed several weeks of care before they were healthy enough to even begin their journey forward. From the very beginning, he was more reserved than his siblings. While the others gradually opened up, he has remained a more sensitive, cautious soul. And that’s not a flaw… that’s who he is. He is happy. He wags his tail, he watches you, he’s aware and engaged… but he is not a puppy who will run up and climb into your lap right away. He is still learning that people are safe, and that trust takes time. 🐾 Personality & Temperament He is a gentle, quiet, observant puppy who prefers to take things in at his own pace. He is not shut down, he is simply cautious. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, both male and female, and even does well with younger puppies. He coexists easily and naturally within a group.
