Story
Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. Meet and greets are done via video chat after an approved application has been submitted. Complete an application for her at recycleddogsrescue.org if interested!

Lucas is a handsome and loving pup who is full of surprises! He can be independent and gentle, but also has a playful side to him when he gets to know you. Although he may seem a bit shy at first, he's actually very affectionate and will melt your heart with his wet kisses. It's important to note that Lucas will need some extra time and space to warm up to his new surroundings. He's good with other dogs, but slow introductions are a must. He would prefer to be the only four-legged friend in the household or have a mellow female dog companion. If you're looking for a sweet and cuddly friend, Lucas will be the perfect fit for you. Although he may be a bit weary at first, he will surely warm your heart and fill your life with love and joy. HISTORY: Smoky is a senior dog that is need of a SPECIAL Foster Family in the Kirkland area! He is a sweetheart. Just wants some love and a family! Smoky is good with other dogs. He does not move much, due to bad arthritis, so no walks needed, just yard time. He is currently completing medication for a UTI and receiving acupuncture treatments. He is taking pain meds and CBD for his arthritis. Smoky really needs a FOSTER FAMILY to chill that has a fenced yard and only a couple steps up and down, an orthopedic bed and someone to give him LOVE. Smoky would do best with older children,NO toddlers due to his arthritis. He is a very sweet old guy that would be ideal if the foster was in the Kirkland or North Seattle Area. We are looking for someone who loves senior dogs and willing to likely be a FOREVER FOSTER. HISTORY: Trigger came into rescue in March 2023 as an owner surrender in eastern Washington. She looks to be about a 2-4 year old Boxer / Labrador mix with 3 legs. FOSTER UPDATE: Trigger is doing great and loves going for walks and rolling around in the grass. She has earned her nickname "Sugar" - she is a very sweet dog. She loves to wag, cuddle, get belly rubs, and give kisses. She can be cautious with new people, but she warms up pretty quickly and is a cuddler - leaning in for hugs, gently putting her paw on your leg to ask for snuggles, and laying her head or body on your lap when you sit or lay near her. She has a lot of love to give. She has good coordination and endurance and loves to go on long walks (with little breaks). She gets pretty excited about bunnies and would like to chase them, so she does best walking on a leash. She seems to be more comfortable with smaller dogs rather than bigger dogs. Story
Tangyi is a calm and gentle soul who gets along wonderfully in group settings with other dogs. Even when other dogs act provocatively, Tangyi avoids conflict and displays submissive behavior, showcasing her mild and peaceful temperament. While she may initially feel timid around strangers who approach her suddenly, she quickly warms up and reveals her affectionate and well-mannered nature once she gets to know them. Tangyi’s slightly reserved personality is balanced by her strong attachment to her owner. This bond can sometimes lead to signs of separation anxiety, so she would thrive in a home where her family can provide her with the love and attention she needs. She shows no particular interest in cats and does not chase them, making her a great fit for households with feline friends. On walks, Tangyi has excellent leash manners and enjoys exploring the world at a relaxed pace. She is also comfortable riding in vehicles, which makes traveling with her a breeze. Given her shy nature, Tangyi will need some time and patience to adjust to a new home and family. During this period, allowing her to settle in and feel secure will help her blossom into the perfect companion. Although Tangyi is currently doing well with walks in her foster home, she may feel startled in unfamiliar environments. For her safety, we recommend using a double leash during walks until she feels more confident. Tangyi is likely to adapt well to a multi-dog household. In fact, having a dog sibling could help ease her separation anxiety. Her calm and well-mannered personality makes her an ideal addition to a harmonious family with other pets.
