Story
Meet Loki – Your Loyal, Loving, and Playful Companion! Loki is a 9-year-old Labradoodle searching for a new loving home after his owner moved into a nursing facility. This handsome 65-lb pup still has plenty of energy and a big heart to share! Loki is devoted, affectionate, and always by your side—if you adopt him, you’ll have a loyal shadow who wants to be wherever you are. He adores playing ball and would happily fetch all day if you let him! Despite his age, he’s still eager to learn and has spent the last four weeks in dog training with a local trainer, mastering basic commands and improving his manners. He’s smart, responsive, and thrives with firm, consistent guidance. As a hypoallergenic Labradoodle, Loki is a great fit for households with allergies. He would do best in a home where he can get daily exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of love. If you’re looking for a devoted, fun-loving, and intelligent companion, Loki might be the perfect match for you!

Story
Meatloaf is a big, male, 54 pounds 2-3 year old Labradoodle new to rescue. Meatloaf is shy/ fear till he knows he is safe and loved. He needs security and not scolded for being shy. He is not aggressive, just unsure of strangers. Meatloaf was a stray, therefore no past history to know what has happened to him. Does ok with other dogs, cats unknown. No small children, and requires a fenced yard. Labradoodles are happy-go-lucky, intelligent, and friendly. Known for their shaggy coats, floppy ears, and sweet smiles, Labradoodles are beloved for their teddy bear-like appearance and demeanor. Depending on the generation, Labradoodles can vary in temperament and coat. Some can be a good choice for people with allergies who are looking for a low-shedding dog compared to other breeds. However, it’s important to note that no dog breed is truly hypoallergenic. Labradoodles are a high-energy breed that requires regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. Labradoodles need around 30–60 minutes of exercise per day, which can include activities like brisk walks, jogging, playing fetch, or engaging in interactive games. When training a Labradoodle, positive reinforcement dog training is the gold standard for training any dog, making sure to use both operant and classical conditioning. Provide plenty of praise, pets, and treats to encourage positive behaviors. Recommended training a Labradoodle as soon as possible. Training our canine companions early on allows them to develop good, lifelong habits. Not to mention, it’s also a great way to bond with him. Meatloaf is neutered, up to date on vaccines, micro chipped, flea/tick treatment, wormed. Meatloaf is in southern Idaho, transport is provided within the Pacific northwest. Story
Ember is a very energetic and fun medium sized pup (55lbs). She's young (1-2yrs) and vibrant and looking for a home where she can participate in family activities like hikes and walks and Netflix nights. She's as good of a snuggler as she is a jogging companion. Her fur is soft and fluffy and she is lower shedding but we CANNOT guarantee hypoallergenic. She is strong and requires a fit owner who can handle a large and active pup. She did have some matting that resulted in dry skin (hence the shaved spot) that was exmained by a vet who performed a skin scraping to ensure there was no mange or underlying condition (test results were negative). She should be kept on a high quality kibble with fish oil supplements. Ember is located in Houston TX and can be picked up there or we can discuss transport options. Her fee is $850. Meet and greets are done via video chat after an approved application has been submitted. Complete an application for her at recycleddogsrescue.org if interested!

Story
Hello, my name is Shortbread. like my brother I was born 3/23/23. Our DR calls us the cookie clan. My owners live in the country & that gives me plenty of room to run & play. I enjoy playing in my pool on hot days & tug a war with my brother. My owners take good care of me, I'm up to date on my shots & worming test. They provide me with a crate in the house to sleep in at nighttime. They have a cat too, but I'm not real keen about it, so we kind of avoid each other. I haven't had much play time with other animals, but I think with some training and interaction we could get along. I like it when they have family gatherings, it gives me little people to play with. I get a little hyper, but they keep me under control. I don't know how I would handle smaller children at first, I can be a little rough from excitement. I would like to stay here but my owners get busy & don't have much time to take me out & about to play with or interact with other animals or people.
