Hello, my name is Oreo, yes like the cookie, I was born March 23, 2023. I live on a small farm where I have lots of space to run & play. I love the water & am quite happy playing in my pool or sprinkler during hot weather. I grew up with my sister, so I have not interacted much with other dogs or cats. I do live with a Cat but since I think it's a play toy, we avoid each other. I think over time & training I could get used to being around other animals and house guest. My owners have a large family that comes & visits from time to time. I get excited when they come over & can get quite bouncy. They are all older kids that seem to tolerate my excitement. I hear that kids come in a smaller packages, but I think I might be a little too rough for them. My owners take very good care of me I am current with all my shots & worming test & I get a crate to sleep inside at night. I just wish my owners had more time to take me out in the world and introduce me to other animals and environment

Hello, my name is Shortbread. like my brother I was born 3/23/23. Our DR calls us the cookie clan. My owners live in the country & that gives me plenty of room to run & play. I enjoy playing in my pool on hot days & tug a war with my brother. My owners take good care of me, I'm up to date on my shots & worming test. They provide me with a crate in the house to sleep in at nighttime. They have a cat too, but I'm not real keen about it, so we kind of avoid each other. I haven't had much play time with other animals, but I think with some training and interaction we could get along. I like it when they have family gatherings, it gives me little people to play with. I get a little hyper, but they keep me under control. I don't know how I would handle smaller children at first, I can be a little rough from excitement. I would like to stay here but my owners get busy & don't have much time to take me out & about to play with or interact with other animals or people.

Lucas is a handsome and loving pup who is full of surprises! He can be independent and gentle, but also has a playful side to him when he gets to know you. Although he may seem a bit shy at first, he's actually very affectionate and will melt your heart with his wet kisses. It's important to note that Lucas will need some extra time and space to warm up to his new surroundings. He's good with other dogs, but slow introductions are a must. He would prefer to be the only four-legged friend in the household or have a mellow female dog companion. If you're looking for a sweet and cuddly friend, Lucas will be the perfect fit for you. Although he may be a bit weary at first, he will surely warm your heart and fill your life with love and joy. Murphy is extremely cute and very sweet. He would be a good companion in a situation where he can be around human(s) for most of the day, without needing too much attention, he takes to everyone. He is very sociable on walks and loves to say hi to people, dogs, give them a good sniff!   Poodle mix of some kind, he does not shed. Found at a shelter 2+ years ago, prior history unknown but likely some trauma. At the time estimated 8 years old. Transformed wonderfully in areas such as health, confidence, leash reactivity with dogs since then with positive association methods. Cons, he sometimes has a fearful / anxious personality and reactive resource guarding that have led to bites on a few occasions with his owner. He also reacts poorly if startled from a rest. He exhibits separation anxiety with extended loud barking when alone. I am looking for a home where he gets more time around people than I can offer. May require management of environment to avoid reactivity and bite history.

Sugar is about 1 yr old (DOB 9/1/23), 21” tall at the shoulder and 33’ long from base of tail to her nose. She now weighs 51#. Her fur is soft and shiny, We think she is a Lab mix…according to the vet. She is a dog needing special care because she is 100% deaf. She gets along great in life depending on other dogs to know when they’re being called for dinner, etc. She is bright and happy and she has been taught a few hand signals for commands. The most difficult part is that you can’t depend on sound to get her attention. Here are the foster’s comments about her personality and behavior: This beautiful young female, Sugar, was a stray who showed up on my acreage in the fall of 2024. Over the course of several days, I could see that she was trying to eat the bark off my trees and was starving. Over the next few days, I put out a bowl of kibble every day. Sugar was leery of my presence and I was leery of hers but I was determined to help her, to rescue her and to find her the loving forever-home I knew she deserved. As it turns out, both of our sense of hesitation was completely unfounded and, from the first day after I contained her in my fenced yard, Sugar, my five other dogs, my husband, and I became the best of friends. Personality/Behavior: * Very gentle, very loving, very peaceful, wants to please her human * Very intelligent, intuitive, interactive and responsive * Responds well to men and women equally * Got along very well with my five other dogs from the first day I found her (male Siberian Husky, male Australian Shepherd, male Pekingese, female Rat Terrier and female French Bulldog) * Intuitively knows which of my dogs she can play with and to what degree * Submissive and respectful to other dogs and people; responds to boundaries * So far, Sugar has been an outdoor dog but I believe she will make a fabulous indoor/outdoor companion in the future * Sugar only barks when she sees a stranger, a deer coming too close the fence, etc. Sugar barks for "good reasons"; she does not bark just to bark. Because she is deaf, Sugar, generally, barks at things she can see and not hear. For example, Sugar does not bark when other dogs bark, when ambulances drive by, fireworks, etc. * Learned how to sit with me using hand signals and treats * I do not know if Sugar is potty-trained because I have not let her in the house. Sugar has never gone to the bathroom in her very large partition nor on the concrete patio. Sugar has only ever gone to the bathroom in the far side of the very large fenced grassy area along with my dogs. I suspect Sugar will learn to be potty-trained very quickly if she is not potty-trained already. * Has never jumped up on people * Very well behaved, smart and has a lot of potential for further training Best Suited For: * Active family who can take Sugar on regular walks * Someone with patience who can work with a deaf dog and who is able to train Sugar to be able to live inside * Sugar is not hyperactive nor does she have the personality traits of a working breed (eg.
