Story
Winnie is just under 6 years old. She joined our family when she was 12 weeks. She was a gift from a friend who'd received 2 littermates from a friend that was a breeder. She is used to and very friendly with kids unless they get too rough (in which case she may gently growl as a reminder to tone it down a notch). She loves to play outside but she is also happy having lazy days, just following you around the house or snuggling. She loves playing fetch and will entertain herself for hours with squeaky toys. She does have a strong prey instinct and will point at small critters like cats and bunnies, which means she is unable to co-exist with them unless under constant supervision. She would make a fantastic hunting/hiking buddy. Winnie is smart, a loyal companion and a very sweet girl and although our family is heartbroken to see her go, we know that she will be much better off in a home without cats or bunnies.

Lucas is a handsome and loving pup who is full of surprises! He can be independent and gentle, but also has a playful side to him when he gets to know you. Although he may seem a bit shy at first, he's actually very affectionate and will melt your heart with his wet kisses. It's important to note that Lucas will need some extra time and space to warm up to his new surroundings. He's good with other dogs, but slow introductions are a must. He would prefer to be the only four-legged friend in the household or have a mellow female dog companion. If you're looking for a sweet and cuddly friend, Lucas will be the perfect fit for you. Although he may be a bit weary at first, he will surely warm your heart and fill your life with love and joy. Hello, my name is Oreo, yes like the cookie, I was born March 23, 2023. I live on a small farm where I have lots of space to run & play. I love the water & am quite happy playing in my pool or sprinkler during hot weather. I grew up with my sister, so I have not interacted much with other dogs or cats. I do live with a Cat but since I think it's a play toy, we avoid each other. I think over time & training I could get used to being around other animals and house guest. My owners have a large family that comes & visits from time to time. I get excited when they come over & can get quite bouncy. They are all older kids that seem to tolerate my excitement. I hear that kids come in a smaller packages, but I think I might be a little too rough for them. My owners take very good care of me I am current with all my shots & worming test & I get a crate to sleep inside at night. I just wish my owners had more time to take me out in the world and introduce me to other animals and environment

Hello, my name is Shortbread. like my brother I was born 3/23/23. Our DR calls us the cookie clan. My owners live in the country & that gives me plenty of room to run & play. I enjoy playing in my pool on hot days & tug a war with my brother. My owners take good care of me, I'm up to date on my shots & worming test. They provide me with a crate in the house to sleep in at nighttime. They have a cat too, but I'm not real keen about it, so we kind of avoid each other. I haven't had much play time with other animals, but I think with some training and interaction we could get along. I like it when they have family gatherings, it gives me little people to play with. I get a little hyper, but they keep me under control. I don't know how I would handle smaller children at first, I can be a little rough from excitement. I would like to stay here but my owners get busy & don't have much time to take me out & about to play with or interact with other animals or people.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Stella is a ~6 year old Lab/Pit mix. She is loving, friendly and wants nothing more than to have a home where she can get lots of cuddles, treats and attention. Once she knows you she is sweet as a button and loves her people deeply. Stella's favorite things are treats, a comfy bed and lots of pets. You can find her cuddled up on her bed and sunbathing on a nice day. She has a calm demeanor and walks well on a leash. Stella is She's has a very high prey drive and can be aggressive towards other animals. She needs a family that has dog reactivity experience so they know how to keep her safe and separate. Stella would do best in an adult-only home or with kids over the age of 12. Not because she is aggressive towards people, she just prefers a quiet and calm home where she can be loved and spend her days relaxing :) She is UTD on her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $250.

Gismo is a 2-year-old Poodle male about 15 lb. He's pretty good with other dogs and is being fostered in a home. His previous home was unable to keep him. He's can be vocal and high-strung. He's very cuddly and cute once he gets to know you. He can be wary of new people and new situations so taking it slow when you first meet him is crucial. He does fine in a crate. Gismo would do best with a single owner. He does fine with other dogs. No kids for Gismo, as he can bite when he's frightened or feels cornered. Gismo needs a family with a lot of rescue experience for him to overcome his behavioral issues. Gismo is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Calliope! She is an energetic and playful girl who is ready for her forever home! Calliope is a Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix, she weighs around 60 lbs and is around 1 year old. Calliope is very active, and she will need a family that can keep her properly exercised. Hiking, walks/runs, and a large, securely fenced yard to run would be ideal for her. She is very sweet but can get over excited and will need continuation of basic obedience as well as leash manners and working on not jumping when excited. Because she is large and jumpy, we are recommending no small children as she could accidently knock them over. Calliope is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $450.
