Story
Teddy earned his name because he’s a big ole Teddy Bear!! Teddy is a 7 month old, labradoodle. He’s around 38 lbs right now and we suspect he won’t get much over 50. Teddy is the epitome of happiness. He frolics and hops when he plays, he’s attentive and eager for affection, he’s basically irresistible! Teddy is dog friendly with dogs of all sizes. He is crate trained and house trained (he uses a doggie door). His coat is soft and fluffy and he sheds minimally if at all. It’s perfect for snuggling up to during movie time. Teddy and some of his extended family joined MHCR as a surrender from a couple in Texas. It’s unclear if they were intentional breeders or just unable to control their own situation, but the growing number of dogs became problematic for them due to their age so they sought help. I know, it looks like he’s AI generated and if I hadn’t met him in person I’d be skeptical, too. This little teddy bear named Fozzie is as real as he is precious! Fozzie is approx 14 weeks old and around 15 lbs. We are told his mom is a standard poodle and his dad a lab. Fozzie is a happy-go-lucky pup that loves to explore and play with his doggie friends. He’s presently in foster with older kiddos and lots of dog friends. He’s learning the basics of crate and house training. Looking for quiet, potty trained, no shed, easy going guy? That’s me! My life motto is “I want no trouble.” I enjoy napping next to my foster mom while she works, napping on the couch, napping away from the chaos of the resident dogs, did I mention napping? I am learning leash skills and find chasing the other dogs while they chase a ball is more fun than chasing the ball. I arrived looking like a small fluffy bear but quickly received this sleek haircut to be more Colorado cool. My foster mom says my coat is gorgeous and when properly cared for and grown out she says I will be the most handsome dude-le. I was great for the vet and the groomer but take some time to warm up to strangers. I’ve never been around kids so a quieter kid free home is more my jam. I’d be happy to be an only dog to receive your love and affection all to myself. One of my tricks is I twirl when excited and kind of sit pretty. Adopt me to be your bestest boy. I’m approx 3 years old and I weigh only 42 lbs.
