Story
Fee sponsored with approved application. Meet little Romeo! His nose looks like a heart which is perfect since he is so loving. Romeo likes his naps, when he is tired he looks for anyone that will pick him up and snuggle. He loves everyone he meets and gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. We don't know his parents, but we were told he is a Lab mix, he looks lab and has all the personality traits of a lab puppy, just still a little small but growing fast. If you want a buddy that wants to be near you, give little Romeo a chance.October update - I am Romeos foster mom, I have been a foster mom since 2009 and have fostered 100's probably 1000's dogs and puppies. So believe me when I say Romeo is special, not perfect but he is a pup that will learn and be your buddy. Today was his 3rd time on a harness and learning to walk, he was excited to go for the walk and walked at a pace that his 70 plus foster mom could keep up with. He sleeps with his foster mom and around morning light asks to go outside and pees. He is in a hurry to go back inside and uses a puppy pad, after that he uses the petdoor. Romeo gets along with the other dogs in his foster home all different sizes and temperments. He sits and waits for his turn to get treats. I took him to a park birthday party and he loved all the children. He doesnt bark much, but he does love his mom's fragrant shoes. We think he will be a medium Lab mix. Story
Gaze into his eyes and cute Canelo will capture your heart! All 43 lbs of this 10.5-month-old boy are sweet, social, easygoing, and happy. He enjoys walks, playing with stuffie toys, chasing tennis balls, chewing on sturdy rubber toys, with breaks in between for cuddle time. Canelo loves playing with other dogs and joyfully greets new people. He’s working on his leash skills and is almost fully crate and house-trained. Motivated by food, love, and toys, he currently knows “sit,” "down," and “off” and if you’ve got a treat, he’s happy to learn more! Now all Canelo marshmallow needs is an active and loving home, with adopter(s) ready to take him on adventures, give him endless belly rubs, complete his training, and adore him for all of his days!   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. Story
If friendliness had a face, it would be 1-year-old Felipe’s face. While the 40-pound black-and-white beauty was initially shy, once he warmed up to his fosters, he wanted nothing more than to snuggle and cuddle with them, rest his head on them, sleep on top of them and then follow them everywhere. Preferring to be petted under the chin rather than above the head, Felipe does a fine rendition of the ranger crawl, is fabulously frisky with his doggy foster friends, and politely respects the senior dog’s boundaries. Percolating with puppy enthusiasm and energy, he loves going on walks, zigzagging slightly in his eagerness to meet other dogs, enjoys playing games of fetch, playing with toys, especially balls, and chewing bones. Motivated by food and toys, he currently knows “come” and “leave it,” and is crate-trained and almost fully house-trained. Only just starting life’s journey, Felipe will fit perfectly into a particularly loving home, preferably with another playful dog, and patient adopters who will bolster his confidence, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him content, mentally and physically, fur-ever. See more photos of Felipe here.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home.
